This place makes me insane and gives me a huge migraine headache after about 45 minutes. Now that…read moremy kids are older I can handle it better (used to lose them sometimes) but it is still not very well organised. Their employees TRY hard, yet seem overworked. They are always friendly though. Too many unsupervised 10-14 year old kids get dropped off on their own and go absolutely nuts shoving each other around, playing tag or hide-and-go-seek and pushing past younger kids, sometimes knocking them over. Most are nice kids though, and after a scolding they behave better..besides one who screamed back and forth with me in German for a good 20 minutes until I started throwing balls at his head and went and tattled to an employee who seemed to know him and have his respect. There are go carts that are actually thrilling to try and operate because of the REAL danger. I´m always dodging little police cars that would break my foot to try and get my kid when the go cart just dies in the middle of the loop. I've saved lives grabbing wandering toddlers just before they get run over by a double motorcycle controlled by a 1 and 3 year old. They now have a self-operating bumper car cage which was very entertaining on my last visit. A bunch of pre-teens were standing up, riding 4 to a car and going crazy trying to kill each other. It was better than a movie..better than TV.. Honestly, it´s a fun place if you can handle it. Kids love it because like climbing trees to the very top it creates a sense of "real" danger. I think the lack of supervision and rules by employees is odd since I´m coming from the US, but it´s not really a BAD thing for kids to experience when they are older. There are very few thrills now days. Just be aware your kid might get hurt, or bullied, or lost. Probably they will just have a great time, but you never know. There are a few places I like better and one that gives me a migraine after 2 HOURS, so that´s a huge difference on the headache scale. I would go with older kids (5-14 or so), have them stick with their friends or sibling and find another place if you have babies or toddlers. It´s very over stimulating and the layout is weird for kids who wander off. Many other play places are smaller, safer, cleaner, and you can see your kids at all times. I have been to a lot of birthdays there and they do a good job. It´s not the WORST place ever but it is pretty special with no rules in place and no one watching over the bumper cars or go carts or slides or anything really.

It is huge, about half the size of a Costco and is filled with trampolines, climbing structures, mini go carts, etc. Kids simply love the place! If you're a parent and need a fun, safe, clean place to spend a few enjoyable hours with your kids, then this place is for you.

The water was warm and it was fresh water...sitting in the Jacuzzi and swirling waters felt wonderful to my sore battered tourist body...it was 16 Euros for an hour and a half and it was sufficient, any time over 15 minutes was an additional Euro (and well worth it, LOL) once we got back to the hotel we found out that free entry was included with the City Card we had received so roomie and I headed off the following night once again, we got there around 8 and stayed until they closed, different crowd and much less crowded. There is a swim up bar and you can use that cool wrist bracelet to pay for your drinks, you cash out once you are leaving the facility. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The Galaxie park is a water park and that was the one with the lines out the door, and there is another section called Wellness with saunas and the like, you can get a combo ticket and oh yeah, the Wellness park is 'textile free', they are currently adding on to the facility, definitely a place to relax on your trip to the Lake Titisee area!

A rather big animal park and very cheap too! Perfect for a day out with kids that you want to keep…read moreentertained and tire out so they'll sleep soundly and early on the weekend :) The animals tend to be in more open cages here then a regular zoo and with the exception of the two brown bear in a rather sad small enclosure non of the animals here are dangerous. Theres bike tracks so you can cycle you way around from animal to animal area but on the weekends this can be tricky with all the families , prams and children you have to dodge. The Playground is one of the better ones I've seen in Germany for kids and the Meerkats are alone worth visiting the Munenhof to see! Some of the animals I saw include -Camels -Pigs -Goats -Ox -Cows -Horses -Bison -Bunnies -Monkeys -Australian birds -Meerkats -Turtles The Aquarium is a bit lame-I also think it's odd that they allow people to bring their dogs in here as in my opinion it's upsetting for the animals The Monkey enclosure is a bit of a worry also as it had a electric fence only inches behind the main fence that more then a few little kids could help but touch and were given quite a nasty shock and left screaming in tears for trying to touch the cute little monkeys- clearly the kids aren't as clever as the monkys who know not to touch it :) Not a bad day out if you have kids- if you don't visit on a weekend and bring your bike for a less boring veiwing.
