And after playing around with it for day, it still did not work. So on the last day in Calgary (before returning home to USA) we happened by the Telus store. Decided that I was willing to spend a little more money, just to see if I could get a decent cellular data connection. I went in with the idea that the Telus associate would look at my phone setting to see if I might have something wrong. They determined that the Esim was not accessing their network, so I would never have healthy data rates. They were not interested in troubleshooting, but they offered to sell me a Telus eSim. So I decided that it would be worth $35 to make this happen. It only took several minutes to buy and get this working. Thanks
