She is Canadian but has lived in Mexico many years so speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Her home is in a very nice residential neighborhood within easy walking distance of several nice restaurants, even a Baskin & Robbins nearby. It is away from the central city so it is quiet, but taxi drivers don't always know where it is so the easiest thing to do is give the driver her phone number and she will guide them in. She can also arrange reliable taxi's for you and tell you how much you should expect to pay in pesos.

Our previous hotel left a lot to be desired, so this was a very welcome change. From the entrance way I was impressed with the decor walking through the garden and pool area I was in awe of how beautiful everything was. The room was immaculately clean, and while it was a standard room it was very nice and spacious and the marble flooring was such a nice touch. The shower was huge !!! We got in late so I assumed finding food would be a struggle , wrong again they offered 3 dining options late night as well as room service!!! The restaurant we found had amazing drinks and the food was so fresh and good ugh ! The restaurant was Cafe Urbano . The next morning we woke up and we were able to have a delicious breakfast with plenty of options including fresh fruit and let me tell you that in room coffee is also amazing! I honestly cannot wait to return to Cancun. I would definitely stay at this resort again. I've stayed at a several of hotels in Cancun and this is on the list of must return!!

That's someone I will take on my team anytime. During our stay, we had several glitches, and Fidel provided a professional outlet for us to express ourselves while maintaining brand standards. He has a difficult job and does it very well. BANQUETS REVIEW My friends hosted a Private pool party at Presidente InterContinental Cancun in August went on without a hitch. The pool area, cabanas, and buffet stations were immaculate . Despite the rain, we had a fabulous time. One star deduction for not being prepared for my food allergies which the catering/ banquet staff was aware of for more than three weeks. Thankfully, the staffed hurried to find two items that I could eat. They covered for the below par communication and made it work for me to have a chicken breast and two slices of steak which were both cooked properly and were flavorful. Most importantly, the wedding couple was not impacted. They had a wonderful time.

Mixed experience: location very convenient, desk staff inattentive, other workers fine, A/C not to standards, Hotel is hot all over. Pros include a true home-cooked Mexican style breakfast, varying offerings daily. Hotel is spotless. The nicer restaurant has closed & there is no hotel bar. Washer-dryer at pool deck area is a big pro. Great views from giant top floor balcony. Six or seven story Hotel had only one functioning ice machine. Many "amenities" are non-functional. For instance, the 15# in-room safes are not bolted-down, could be carried off. Diet coke is $2/can. We would stay here again; but better A/C would be a MAJOR improvement ! Rick

It had the best reviews for what we, as a family, needed. The whole point of the trip was to take our family, including abuelos, on a vacation everyone would enjoy. Being abuelos' first time at an all-inclusive, it exceeded their expectations and they loved the experience. They were able to get food and drinks as they pleased. For the kids, all they needed was a kid friendly pool, other kids to play around and they were happy. However, Fiesta Americana Condesa also offers a kids club from toddlers to teens. I do want to highlight how EVERYONE ( all staff) were exceptional from the moment we step foot on the property to the time we left. For our family, every eatery visited was well run, again all staff was super friendly and more than helpful with some even go your of their way to accommodate for reasonable food preferences, specifically, the Buffet. Are there things that can improve? Yes, of course there are, just as with any other hotel. Some of the fixtures might need updates, the gym could use 40 -45 lb (18-20kg) dumbbells and recovery equipment, Sushi Corner MOST DEFINITELY HAS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT and lastly, there could be more adult activities. But in reality, most people come to ALL-INCLUSIVES to drink to your hearts content, drink some more, then drink some more and maybe throw in some food somewhere. The central lobby bar didn't seem to be at a loss for patrons throughout the day. If you're looking for fun time, a good variety of food, adult and family friendly activities, and WON'T BREAK THE BANK then I'd recommend checking out Fiesta Americana Condesa.

Barely any lighting in the room none of the outlets work. And the ice machines didn't work on our level and the four levels above us that we didn't even bother going for more. The food was disgusting. There was really nothing that was great maybe one thing at each place. And there were some of the restaurants where you'd have to pay more for premium items and it wasn't even worth paying the premium. I suggest going to the city and eating anywhere else than having to pay here. This is the second time that I have gone to an all inclusive and although it's Handy, the drinks are watered down including the beer. I just think if you're paying four to $600 a night it needs to be a little better. Oh my God and I forgot that there was construction outside of our door. I'll post a video if you wanted to take a nap during the day don't count on it.
