My dog's recurring ear infection caused me to schedule that today--a Sunday! same day appointment!--so Petfolk already had points in their favor even before I got there. I use a holistic vet that can be hard to get into, plus it's a hard drive clear across town on a weekday, therefore they are not good for urgent use. (They are also super expensive and make you wait a frustratingly long time once you're there). Everyone at Petfolk--Zabrina, Peter, and Dr. Mary Murphy--was so friendly, timely, gentle, kind, informative, and explained things so well. I felt heard and respected and they gained my trust quickly. This included the breakdown of cost, and updating me on cost as the appointment progressed. I knew just what the treatment plan entailed when I left, but even if I hadn't, they sent a follow up email spelling it all out. My dog is generally quite healthy, but with her allergy-borne ear issues and advancing age, I immediately saw the value of the membership even though I almost never go for that sort of thing. I look forward to the new location in Kennesaw opening in a couple of months which will be perfect for us. I will now use Petfolk as my primary vet, and the holistic one for more specialized advice and treatment going forward. Thank you, Petfolk. I'll be spreading the word.

They showed little compassion for my cat. They were all about the money. They let me come in and walk out without even taking a look at my pet. I gladly agree to not return to questionable facilities that are not available on weekends when MOST visits are needed. Long story short she ended up with a huge lump under her fur. I called the office last minute and they accepted heed when nobody else would. Now I know how offices work, but that says something when an office hear a cat cannot move and isn't eating and lets them come in rather than sufferIng for daya for an appointment. Anyway the staff here is so, so caring and nice! They stayed after hours and took as long as they needed to get my cat sorted. When they were done they packed her up in a box like a happy meal (see photo) and sent her on her way. I'm a sucker for good customer service and I thought that it was sooo cute that they sent a handwritten card to here weeks after her visit!! Oh and the pricing they are EXTREMELY affordable!! The person with whom I spoke indicated that a conversation was had with the front desk people and the vet (who was not even present when I was there). After I indicated that there was no one in the waiting area or in the parking lot, an explanation was given as to why no vet's were available to help my pet. Needless to say, I requested my vet records be sent to me and I will no longer be a patron of an establishment who does not put a pet in need first.

The office visit costs $85, which is double what I used to pay in kennesaw, but hey, HEALTH IS WEALTH! I came to the appointment with a few small concerns with my pup, Levi. Dr. Whitaker was so very knowledgeable and helpful. He really took his time explaining the ingredients of the flea/tick medications and assured me that everything was safe for Levi, regardless of what the "docs of the internet" say. He was very gentle with my dog, taking his time examining him and ensuring all of my questions were answered. I loved that my time at the office was not rushed, and I felt that Levi and I were Dr Whitaker's top priority for that hour. I can't put into words how happy I left the office. I highly suggest you take your beloved pets to see him for any concern or just for a yearly check up. The office was very clean and all staff was just as kind. Before leaving the office, Levi and I booked his first dental cleaning appointment. I'm so relieved that I found such an amazing doctor in my area!
