She was told there were no refunds or rebooking, and she lost $100 (only the tip was refunded). The owner later confirmed that the policy is to give whatever remaining time is available if a client is late... but that wasn't offered or honored. My wife even removed her original review to help a small business, but people deserve to know what happened.

So much for a celebratory spa day date. Upon arriving, we found parking to be a bit of a challenge, and even locating the building was difficult as the business is located in a small yet charming little house. I must say that the building had tons of potential curb appeal, but sadly was in disarray and had a tiny almost non visible sign. Our appointment was during the holidays, so the cozy little house and front yard could have really been decorated and made to look like the owners of the spa really cared about the business and the complete overall customer experience. Sadly, though, the business looked run down and neglected, not a good first impression. Once entering the spa, it was a bit cluttered, but everyone was extremely nice, professional, and accommodating. Our massages were wonderful, although due to covid, we were in separate rooms and had to wear masks. Neither of which supported our original plans of a relaxing spa date. However, we both enjoyed our massages. The room I was in was beautiful, and the total environment was very relaxing for all the senses. My massage was wonderful, the masseuse was very knowledgeable and respectful. To sum things up, my husband and I loved the people and the service they provided. However, a lot was lost on appearance and branding. The employees seemed to want to make this appointment a "total experience" but forgot that that begins before you ever enter the building and before the massage ever begins.
