Range is fine but some of the staff are very rude. The range officer at the range we used was nice but the guy in the office was needlessly rude, almost like they wanted us to feel unwelcome and not come back. Mission accomplished. read more

We never got passed the front desk. I took my 15 year old to sight in his .308. My father-in-law came along for the ride. I explained to the guy at the counter that my son would be the only one shooting but he was adamant that everyone needed to pay the day use fee. $7 is a decent cost for my son to shoot. $21 isn't. The employee explained that he wouldn't be down at the range to verify that I wasn't shooting and that's why I needed to pay. In Feb I will retire as a 20 yr police officer. I'd like to have a range I can go to as a private citizen. Whittecar unfortunately will not be that range for me. read more

Love this range! It is affordable, people are friendly, and there are good bay options for both rifles and handguns!

Excellent range, very glad that we found them down in Hamilton a little closer to our home. Not the largest facility, but the 300 yard rifle range is more than enough to zero a hunting rifle and test your skills on the steel plates the range provides. 2 covered pistol ranges and 2 covered rifle ranges with a handful of open bays gives enough options that you're not shooting shoulder to shoulder. The range manager is very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. You even get a free target! read more

I've been a member of this range for several years and except for some odd rules regarding steel targets and which guns can be shot on which ranges, I enjoy it very much. It's convenient since I don't have to drive to (and then, through) Missoula to other clubs. Please finish the Smallbore range! read more
