This is a very large library that houses an incredible range of books and references…read more the reference library is phenomenally large, and the staff seem to be experts in absolutely every subject! it is perfect for any type of student, from primary to university as the range of references is exceptional. the children's part to the library is very comprehensive and the staff often run different activities, especially during the school holidays, for different age ranges of children. there is also a large computer room and internet cafe which is very quiet and useful.

It is a massive Library to say the least but there is definitely something for everyone at Sandwell Central Library. I have only been here on a small number of occasions and there were times where I did get lost in the Library. However I have enjoyed being here and it is a place where you certainly can get peace and quiet. The Learning Centre at the Library offers free public access to the internet via a large number of computers, study guides and careers information. So if you do need advice about getting on the job ladder, there will be staff at the Library who will be happy to help you out. The latest bestsellers, blockbusters and classic films on DVD, a variety of newspapers and magazines, local and family history books as well as books on CD are some of the items you will find. Sandwell Central Library is worth a visit and there are books for all ages and tastes.

I didn't realise it's a place where people just meet up to chat away. Staff visitors everywhere. There was even a meeting when I arrived, which is understandable if it's brief, however there was never one peaceful moment.

Burntwood library located in sankeys corner is a nice relaxing place to go. It has had a refurb not…read moreso long ago and now is looking really nice. If you into reading this is the place to be fantastic range of books from children to adult. The staff are really pleasant and always willing to chat. I would recommend going to the library as they also have connections with the job centre and places like that so if you are in need of a job this is also the place to go to. It is like the centre of the community.

Good use of space both upstairs and down with plenty of study space for those who need it. I have found some staff to be a bit abrupt with me as I use other libraries too but most are very friendly.
