Honestly, organized chaos here. I think there is 2-3 floors worth of merchandise. It honestly gave…read moreoff vibes of a Burlington. From the moment I walked in I personally was a little overwhelmed. The name Nordstrom leads me to expect a certain vibe, this did not hit that. The shoe area is a good size, but tiny aisles. It was pretty organized. There is some areas to sit, but not enough. There were people sitting on the floor. There were many racks throughout. There is lots of departments like kids, mens, womens, shoes, bags, suitcases and much more. There is a lot to sift through. The pricing was in my opinion a little high. I can find items one sale, cheaper especially with a coupon. I am sure I made a face at some of the pricing like, "Um really. You want that much for that?" The staff were ok. I had one who tried to help, but he was new so he was unsure on the answer. I ended up not staying too long. I was just there for shoes, and walked out empty handed.

The store representative was kind at check out and answered questions regarding return policy of non-clearance items.

Just updating from the previous review. As of June 2024,…read morethese are the businesses down at Pier 70: Home Depot Walmart McDonald's Chipotle AT&T Planet Fitness T.J. Maxx HomeGoods Lane Bryant Bath and Body Works Ulta Beauty Michaels Old Navy America's Best Famous Footwear A good reason to come down to this area is because you're needing that item that a Center City store is out of or doesn't carry. Case in point, I found the fisherman style sandals that I wanted at Pier 70's Old Navy, not at the Chestnut St. location. This strip mall location had more in the way of sandals & shoes compared to the other store. And on sale for less than what I saw online was a welcome surprise. Customer service was pleasant. Finally, I checked out the Michaels to see how it held up to the now gone-but-not-forgotten A.C. Moore. Less selection is what strikes me the most. Naturally, there's way less fine art/painting supplies here than craft/seasonal stuff.(I'd still go to Blick or Artist & Craftsman for more in depth painting materials.) A.C. Moore just always seemed better stocked quantity-wise, with their own brand & others that you come across in other art supply stores. If you have to come down to Pier 70, I'd say come if you're needing something specific that you know will be offered at these kinds of chains. Usually, more everyday kind of purchases. The route 7 bus got me down & back pretty easily.

Pier 70 shops currently include Old Navy, Home Depot, Bath & Body Works, Famous Footwear, Dental…read moreDreams (a children's dentist), Mc Donald's and AC Moore which is usually my main purpose for visiting this waterfront shopping center. There used to be an Acme which was also a draw, but it has since closed and remains vacant, unfortunately. I really hope they put something great there. This shopping center could use a boost. A visit to this Walmart is the stuff nightmares are made of and with Target right around the corner why would anyone come here? Well, obviously the prices are cheaper and for me personally it's for crafting supplies and such. They actually drop bus loads of people off here! Ugh! The worst! This Home Depot isn't my favorite. It's dark and people aren't helpful. Lowes is just down the street and my preferred store for home improvement needs. The Old Navy is huge and I do find some great kids clothes there. There are always online coupons. This store is messy at times and lacking in sales staff. Always a line, but it beats heading to a mall. The AC Moore is ok. It's large and usually has what I'm looking for. The only craft store in the city so there's that. Don't forget your 50% off one item coupon from their site or upon check-in on Yelp. The Bath & Body Works is small, but is very clean and organized and always has what I'm looking for. Valerie, an energetic, knowledgable, friendly sales girl is amazing!! She'll help you with everything!! Great Bath & Body and a nice alternative to parking Liberty Place for those of us who drive. Coming here first thing in the morning or around dinner time or later is best and when it's least crowded. It should be avoided completely on the weekends if possible. You can catch amazing sunsets here!! And there once was a fox in the parking lot which for me is waaaaay cool. There are always, without fail, homeless people at both the entrance and exits. I do not normally give these people cash. I used to live nearby and would see many (not all) of them later on doing drug deals on the back streets. I do however always give water bottles on a hot day or granola bars so maybe have them ready if you're a giver.

Just got done shopping at this home depot where my husband was getting supplies to build two…read morepicture frames. He was SO excited about this project. I was happy to see him happy. Home depot quickly ruined that! We spent about a half hour collecting all the supplies we needed, went to the checkout area (its self checkout with a customer service rep monitoring the stations), and that's where things took a wrong turn. Rang up all our items then it got to the lumber pieces. He scans the ticket sticker on the piece of wood and the computer lights up saying we need assistance from a customer service rep. She was standing right there and so he says, yeah I just need to ring this piece of wood up? This strip of skinny wood was under $2. She rang up that he bought 15 pieces of 15 foot strips of wood (clearly she could see we did NOT have that in our cart!) In the chaos of the hustle and bustle of retail this time of year, he didn't realize the cost was WAY over and was trying to pay and get out of the store. Right after the receipt comes out he looks at it and says to the customer service rep, "wait a minute, I said the piece of wood was 15 feet, you charged me for 15 separate pieces of wood!" She says "oh I sorry you have go to customer service for that." Now fuming inside... we go to customer service and stand in yet another line. Get to the return station and tell this girl what happened and she looks at the receipt for 2 seconds and says "oh this is such and such amount$ per foot" - THIS WAS INCORRECT - she just brushed it off to get us out of the store and keep the line moving. My husband knew she was wrong but at this point realized nobody cared enough to fix this issue and we were both having anxiety attacks on top of fuming with anger so we just left the store. We both double checked this piece of lumber, the price etc. and they overcharged us without a doubt. THEIR MISTAKE. An expensive mistake!! A CARELESS mistake. The kind of mistake that makes you want to never go shopping again. The kind of mistake that when it happens at the end of a stressful week makes you feel suicidal. Thanks home depot, for ruining the chance of happiness my husband would have had today if you had one modicum of care or decency.

This Nike Factory Store is located in the Fashion District Philadelphia shopping center, located in…read moreCenter City on Market Street. it's a fairly large store. it's filled with discounted and overruns of Nike sneakers and clothing (basically Nike merchandise that is not selling well, discontinued, or out of season). it's very much Nike store--brightly lit, well-maintained and clean, and merchandised well. and thankfully, it does NOT smell like feet lol. there are two floors to this store...only really explored the ground floor where the majority of sneakers are. it's very much where you can buy sneakers to actually use versus "grails" aka rare kicks. lots of retail "bricks." there was more running sneakers variety, here, than I thought and obviously they have sneakers across the sports categories. the discounts are pretty good dependent on the sneaker and how badly it sold or how quickly they want to empty inventory. i think if you set the general Nike app or SNKRS app to this store, you can search its inventory. never tried bc running sneakers is pretty much in one area of the store. there's tons of open-box sneakers piled up neatly if you want to search by size. you may find better deals versus the shelved stuff. would never come here during the weekend bc this is in a shopping center with high traffic. but weekdays are a safe bet. have not purchased here in a while bc the last pair i thought about was cleared out the next time i went aka you snooze you lose. the staff are hit-or-miss, generally helpful, but in general the service has been passable at worst. if you are looking to make a day of shopping, there's a decent variety of stores in this general area + an AMC movie theater. if you're looking for high-in-demand sneakers, you probably won't find them here...but if you are looking for your workhorse sneakers...then this place is a good place to find a pair.
