I hate that it comes to this but based off of my experience for this company.I feel a review is…read morenecessary. I went to a to z during the summer to have some blasting done on a set of 26x14 aluminum wheels. The blasting looked great!. After me not being able to polish the wheels I decided to have them powder coat them. They price them at $160 a wheel plus supplies. Already had the powder and the clear from the build that I am currently doing. So I dropped the wheels off with powder on June 26th 2025... On August 26th I sent a message asking how things was going.. I received no response...I tried to call on the 27th with no answer.. I waited a few days and tried again this time I got a answer. I asked what did she think the time frame would be and she responded I thought you wasn't in a hurry... I said im not but it has been too months.. she replied I'll put them on the schedule. I replied thank's .. It's a good thing.I called because my understanding when I dropped them off.I was on the schedule..on September 19th the Zach called me and had some questions on them I answer them and hung up...on September 30th I received a text from the wife that my wheels are ready. I replied awesome I'll be there tomorrow evening... We exchanged a few more messages. She Explaining to me that they were a little orange peeled. And I replied, I understand I'll see you tomorrow.. on october first I went to pick them up.After work in the evening When I got there, neither owners was there. So that I talked to the worker, and he ended up calling the wife I explained to her that I have some concerns. So she put her husband on three way, and I spoke to both of them on the phone has been informed me.He was ten minutes down the road and would be there shortly... I pointed out to him that two of the wills had little or no clear. On the backside, He replied not a problem.I'll fix them to give him 24hrs not a problem.. On October 2nd I contacted the husband asking. If my wheels are gonna be ready this evening. He replied, he would know here in 10 minutes. I said, thank you.Let me know. He replied ten or fifteen minutes later, saying they're as good as he can get them... I telled him I'll see him in 30 minutes.... I get there the two wheels that he was trying to fix are now Not only was dull on the inside but now dull on the outside center too. All four are orange peeled bad he acknowledged this and said that I needed to get automotive clear and clear the centers... and the barrel was to big and the orange peel was normal When it comes time to pay him, i ask him what he planned on doing. He said he would only knock off $20 a wheel. I asked even though i'm not happy with them. And you know there not the quality they should be he replied He has way too much time in them to go down much... i left this establishment paying almost full price for a job that is unfinished And in horrible shape, they used every excuse that they could to justify the poor quality .They're too big.. .Their aluminum .You should have picked a color that didn't require clear I paid a professional price and did not receive a professional job At this point I've got a set of wills that are still not to the quality. They should be for the money i've paid I just want others to know what they could be getting in for by choosing this company If you know your quality is not up to standards, then you can't charge a premium price. I order my powder from the same company They use it is the same quality. They're used to using So the powder is not the issue I lost money driving over an hour, two days in a row plus dropping them off plus materials plus there labor cost i'm the one it ended up taking a loss. They still made all but eighty dollars of what they had quoted

I previously had ABJ blast and coat 5 different automotive parts. Other than taking much longer…read morethan most places, (3-5 weeks on average) I was fine with it as the staff was friendly, and the prices fair. A mistake. Then, the mask started slipping. I brought a custom exhaust header for them to do, and after 4 weeks I called just to get a checkup. It wasn't done, "okay well, maybe next week" I thought. 2 days later, they called and said it was ready. I assumed they had bumped it up as I was a good customer. Nope. When I installed the part the powder coat started coming off immediately. I could scratch it off with my fingernail. When the metal was exposed I saw that it hadn't been blasted, and they had coated semi-rusted metal. So what they had actually done, was after I called, they just threw powder on it and got it out the door. Stupidly, I looked past that. And 5 weeks ago I brought a engine block for them to do. I arranged for one of their blasters to pick it up that monday at ABJ and was told and assured he would pick it up, and that it could be blasted with no damage, and I was also told it could be powder coated with no damage. I dropped it off on a Saturday for the Monday pickup, and even brought it on a new engine stand so they could just roll it around and their blaster could load and move it more easily. The guy in the office that I had never seen before this, knew the blocks situation, the pickup time and date, and the color I wanted. I was told a week or less to blast it, and a "couple weeks" to powder coat it. Which I knew from experience meant 3-4 weeks. So, 4 and a half weeks later, (this Tuesday) I tried to call multiple times to get an update. No one answered the phone regardless of when I called. After trying two times today to reach them, I decided I'd drive over there. I'd had a bad feeling for weeks since neither their blaster or them ,had called me asking for money, and now nobody seemed to be picking up the phone. Turns out I must be related to Dionne Warwick, because I was right. When I arrived not only had the block not been touched, but nobody knew what was supposed to be done to it. Their blaster never picked it up, never called me to tell me, and ABJ let it sit there for a month after and never called. When I asked why nobody had called me, I was told by an older gentleman and the guy i usually dealt with (who now got angry and defensive) that "he didn't run the phones". Oh, did I mention this was shortly after both of them said they had seen it sitting there for weeks and "wondered why it hadn't been touched"? When I looked at them like they had brain worms, the one guy went to go call their blaster to get him to come get it. (without asking me mind you) I told him no. Why would I want to use their guy who had already messed up this badly? He got angry over that too, and walked off in a huff. No apology, no explanation, zero effort to make the situation right. The older gentleman, did help me load the block and empty my trunk to do so. (hadn't planned on this happening so I brought a sports car ha ha) You could tell he knew this wasn't the best situation, and was the only one that actually tried to make things right in any way. And as it turns out they couldn't have powder coated it anyway! I wish i had been told that 5 weeks ago when all this started. Or heck even 4 weeks ago when the block hadn't even been picked up as promised. I give them 2 stars on Google only because they had previously done good work, and the older gentleman did make a slight attempt. If not for that, 1 star, like here. Needless to say, I'm not going back. I'll make sure to let all my car club friends that use ABJ (on my recommendation) what happened as well. I'll probably have some fences to mend with them now. Do not give these people money. They are not only deceptive, and slower than other coaters, but they don't seem to have anyone that knows how to use a telephone, and the quality of the work is spotty at best. On top of that, they only care about their commercial customers, the little guy be damned. And business owners wonder why brick and mortar places are dying?
