He starts having trouble with his vehicle and is unsure as to where to take it as he is unfamiliar with the area. I take to yelp and immediately find this 5 star rating and give these guys a call. While they are quite busy they manage to squeeze my son's vehicle in so that he would not miss work. Here's the thing...they did not charge for the labor or parts!!! This was, at the very least, a $175 job! Gave my son the keys and he was on his way. While I am not an emotional being, I teared up. This was an absolute blessing to come across such an anomaly..honest/mechanic! To top it off, his vehicle runs like new. If I could pick this shop up and put it in Houston, I would!

1 Star -- Absolutely Horrible Experience…read more If I could give Hurricane Wrecker Service zero stars, I absolutely would. My daughter was stranded on a flooded road with her 2-year-old son, already dealing with a frightening and stressful situation. Hurricane Wrecker Service was literally LESS THAN TWO MINUTES AWAY from where her vehicle was located, and the car needed to be towed less than half a mile. Jason initially quoted her $500. YES, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS to tow a vehicle less than half a mile! What makes this even more upsetting is that the price suddenly changed after a man questioned him about it. I'll let that speak for itself. And let's talk about the woman working at the front desk. Rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. If you're going to be the first person customers encounter, especially when they're already dealing with an emergency, a little compassion and basic customer service should be the bare minimum. Her attitude was absolutely unacceptable, and she should not be representing any business in that manner. The way both my daughter and I were treated was beyond disappointing. Instead of showing compassion or professionalism, we were met with attitudes and disrespect. In fact, the experience was SO awful that I contacted another towing company and willingly paid MORE money just to avoid giving Hurricane Wrecker Service my business. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. When someone is stranded with a small child in a dangerous situation, the last thing they need is to feel taken advantage of or disrespected by the very people they're calling for help. Customer service, compassion, and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, we experienced none of those things here. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I would gladly spend more money elsewhere before ever dealing with this company again.

I'm guessing he said there was nothing wrong to cover his own butt, and quietly fixed his error. I should not have been charged.
