Have been to Whites since 08, every time I have had an examination they
have told me the scale/polisher is broken and refered me to the
hygienist'
I too have experienced this, I used to see a female dentist M/s Ahmed who advsed me that all her scaling equipment had been taken off her and I had to make an appointment with the hygienist, she also insisted that I did not clean my teeth and that is why they were so sensitive. I was vindicated by the next dentist I saw who advised me my teeth were clearly no where near as bad as she had recorded in my notes.
Today I called to see if I could attend an appointmet my son had made for himself. He made the apointment for the Christmas holidays whilst he was home from Uni, as previous comments show Whites are constantly changing appoinments and as such his was re sheduled for early Jan and therefore can not attend.
I was advised by a very curt receptionist after looking at my records that as I had not had an appointment since 2009 I would not be able to use my sons appointment as it would be kept for regular customers, I would have to make my own appointment.
This is a far cry from Whites calling me not many weeks ago asking me would I like to make an appointment as I had not been recently, Yes I replied , I have two broken molars and I am desperate to get them repaired but as appointments were booked so far in advance they culd not accommodate me as I would not know what days I would be available due to my shift pattern. So I still have my broken molars and no appointment and there was no request for a deposit.
I explained all of this to the receptionist who conceded that I would have to have a cancellation where the dentist could patch up the teeth and I would have to have another appointment for the work to be done Oh and I would also have to pay a deposit over the pone when I made the appointment, given that I am an existing patient, I have kept all the appointments I have made, I do not owe them any money, I also consider that an emergency appointment may have been in order and I have not been to any dentist since my last appointment with them, I feel I was treated very shoddily.
My experience of Whites is not good the first dentist I saw M/s Ahmed, was abrasive bordering on rude. The other dentist I saw Mr Barton was fine. Whites as a practice is not good, as previous comments have pointed out they are clearly only after as much money as they can get and yes I have arrived in time for an appointment and had to wait 45 mins.
I shall in future go elsewhere, I do not give one star It woud not let me give a Zero. read more
