The entire experience from the jump was great, it's a welcoming space with calming sounds and essential oil diffusers that set the mood as you enter the spa space. The bedding and blankets were actually a surprise and I was a little nervous as it's hard for me to relax sometimes.. Lola fixed that! The spa experience was so relaxing that I was really close to falling asleep on multiple occasions. Thank God I don't snore if I did.. My scalp was treated with multiple rounds of feel good tools and shampoos to get the gunk out and boy did it get the gunk out! So, feeling somewhat traumatized, imagine my amazed surprise/shock when the owner of the clinic, Dr Mitchell Wilkinson, contacted me to discuss and reconcile the situation! Considering said situation to be untenable and my position to be cauterized I resisted. With gentle persistence, his appeals to assist broke through my resolve and I relented and made an appointment with him. The night prior I could not sleep and so, wrapped in defensiveness wore a suit and tie to the appointment and with every administrative step insisted that HE had made an appointment with ME and that I was there pro bono. Should a single scrap of paper resembling or labeled "billing" reach me, I would respond with my own billing (I had all of my ridiculously high rates prepared). Cutting through the narrative, Dr. Wilkinson offered to not only replace but improve my broken crown without cost-on the spot, right then and there! Not from any persuasion or oratory artistry on my part... Its difficult to explain the motivation of a truly gifted professional who is compelled by sincere empathy, sympathy, and compassion in our current paradigm of entitlement but I accepted the offer - not for the day, I waited a week (I dislike acting on emotion without a measure of time and reason to smooth the surface, as it were) but a week later found myself again in his office, this time receiving care. His diplomacy is surpassed by his skill, I believe and my experience (yesterday) has me thinking that getting a crown is not so difficult or strenuous a thing. I realize that I have gone from a rating of 1 to a rating of 5 stars and that some may consider this a dis validation of my perspective. If so, fine. Remove both and eliminate my 2 posts with a composite of 3 from the entirety and I will be fine with that. Woodbury Smiles has more than answered my complaints. The last time, I asked why he used temporary glue and was told in case he needed to go back in(?) I told him to put the permanent glue in, and it's been fine since. My implanted tooth is much shorter than the other, which is very noticeable, as it's one of my front teeth! Also, I have suspicions about how charges are applied. The Office Manager had already put in a charge for one of my visits, for approximately $300 but the Dentist was sitting at the computer adding the same charge and was told it was already applied. It just seemed odd to me that he has a manager to do the billings, yet feels the need to get in and add things? I do not recommend this office, for the reasons listed.

This is the second time that they submitted the claim to the wrong insurance carrier. So far they are batting 0 for 2. I'm a bit concerned that they may be shooting for the trifecta of incompetence. A word to the billing folks at Martin Dentistry - You have all the insurance information you need. Call me and I'll send you a photocopy of the insurance card if you lost my insurance information.....And then submit to the correct insurance carrier - It's really very simple. 7/21/2022 Update. The insurance claim has now been incorrectly submitted a third time! I called the Dental Insurance carrier and they say that they were never contact by Martin Dentistry for this claim! So, even though I provided Martin Dentistry with my insurance card information (front and back of card), and they had the dental insurance coverage information prior to the appointment on April 19, It is now 3 months later and they still can't get it right. HOW MANY more failed attempts will it take for Martin Dentistry to submit the claim to the correct carrier? 7/29/22 Update: Thank God! Over a 3 1/2 month period the billing folks at Martin Dentistry submitted the insurance claim to the wrong address even though they had the insurance information from my card prior to the appointment 3 1/2 months ago. When we 1st went to Dr Spray he was wonderful (so we thought)…read more 1. As of this date all the work we had him do for myself and family had to be redone by someone else. 2. One day I went in to have him fix a filling (he claimed was not one he did) before he did anything he had me go to his office and he basically yelled at me for not paying my bill. Well we paid every month and his bookkeeper applied our payment to my family and not my account . Well I can't control what his staff does with the payment. He had me so humiliated and feeling like a child I just wanted to crawl in to a corner and disappear.. 3. I found out from the state that he was suppose to send the bill to medical assistance (I was on ma at the time) But he got paid more by my other insurance so he didn't send it through ma. That is fine but he can't charge me for the difference that insurance don't pay because he knew I had MA when I 1st started going to him. Sorry too have to write this Dr Spray but they way you treated me was not only unprofessional but it was uncalled for as well....
