At first, I thought it would be like other B&Bs we've stayed at in times past: a Victorian house with many guests, packaged snacks and a packaged breakfast from a microwave. I. Was. Wrong. The owners, Patricia and Ralph, greeted us upon arrival ready to take our bags from the car. (We packed light, so there was no need). We were given an in-depth tour of the house along with the histor; it is an incredible story. The B&B is very spacious and cozy throughout the house. There is plenty of room for you to relax, stretch out, read a book in solitude or lounge. We stayed in the Hickory room which was very clean and comfortable. Sweet Tea B&B has a well stocked pantry if you have a craving for something. To end the visit, Ralph made homemade eclairs, blueberry muffins and French toast (bread was homemade too). This is as traditional as a B&B gets. Patricia and Ralph are incredible hosts. They take hosting to an unbeatable level with impeccable detail to every part of your stay. We came across Catawba Farms/Winery and stayed at The Peacock Inn (B&B). We were a little early checking in and was greeted by Tammy who gave us a fabulous informative wine tasting. We had a bite to eat at the food truck onsite and then ventured the farm. We met the beautiful peacocks (which my husband fed them!!), Zonkey, pigs, goats, Major the horse and the sweet dogs. We can't say enough about the owners Dennis, Twyla and Michael who we spent time with and expressed wonderful stories about their journeys. These guys also have a local wine bar that we went too in the evening. You have to go with an open mind and expect very chill and relaxation playing board games and chatting with guests.
