We stopped by for the first time while passing through Lincoln in July. We only stopped by because…read morethey were open and the Arrowhead was running late. I'm glad we stopped in though. I was surprised to see what a fun little place this was. Out of all the shops in Lincoln, this is the least touristy. The focus is mainly on fashion and crafts. There were some historical items on display and some souvenier posters, but that wasnt the main focus. One room was really colorful with Mexican blankets, sweaters, ponchos and rugs. These were much more colorful than usual and really nice. We had purchased a blanket for a friend and though it was significantly cheaper than this selection, these were much nicer. We didn't stick around long as we were in town to get a specific item and were anxious to get back on the road and get the drive behind us. However, we plan to return next year and get one of those full color blankets, just beautiful! My husband was disapointed at the size selection for the sweaters. He is very tall and since 2XLT isn't a common size in these types of shops, he often has to make due with 3XL. Unfortunately the sweaters, and even the t-shirts in the other room had a max size of 2XL. The owner was very apologetic, explaining the minimum orders vs requests. Oh well, it's understandable. The second room had a lot of women's fashion. I was personally interested in the handmade coin purses and small purses by the door. These were cute and very affordable, much more so than the other merchandise, around $5. The other items were a variety of clothing and jewelry. Like most buildings in town, there is no AC and no restroom, but they are really close to the visitor center that offers both. This place is definitly worth a closer look and we already plan to put aside some time next summer to check it out without time constraints. Check it out!
