The best thing is that it's a small office with one on one focus with true professionals. What a perfect location with the nicest staff.. She is knowledgeable, gentle but firm and puts together a plan for you. The have the latest machines and the area is super clean. I had total knee replacement and did pre PT two weeks before surgery and then started PT there on day 3 after. The sessions last 45 minutes and includes bike or machine to get warmed up. I did three times a week initially and then went to twice a week. The exercises at the office and home were so helpful in my recovery. They also have Larry who is super nice and Erin who just joined the group. All are very friendly and work with you to improve muscle and range of motion.

I can't imagine my life without their care and concern. They were able to help men when western medicine had reached its limits in many aspects of my care. I would say, one of the most poignant moments of my care management was when Dr. Paterson cured me of debilitating low back pain, of which I suffered from for over 15 years. The pain ended my modern dance career due to a car accident. I literally would go completely blind and experience shock like sensations up and down my legs from the compression in my spine. I used to crawl from the bathroom to the bedroom after work, and I couldn't even bend over the sink to brush my teeth without my knees buckling to the floor. Western doctors gave me pain killers, MRIs, radiation, and shots in my spine to no avail, other than a case of gastritis from long term use of NSAIDS for the pain. Dr. Paterson diagnosed me in the first visit with a psoaz muscle spasm in my right hip, due to the car accident. After suffering from years of debilitating pain, he cured me in less than two visits! He used a technique called manual therapy in conjunction with acupuncture and I have hardly suffered since. I think I had two more minor episodes over the next two years, which Dr. Paterson addressed. Since then, I have not exhibited those symptoms, at all, unless I do something unusual. It is so rare that I don't even think about it anymore, and I can work it out myself with a little stretching. It has been about 15 years since he treated me for the psaos muscle spasm. Dr. Paterson's acupuncture abilities combined with his knowledge of eastern medicine, and manual therapy is a highly unique skill set. I would not have made it through my job for the last 15 years, if it wasn't for his care. I highly recommend Centre Downe Health.

I live 800 miles away in the Alexandria Va area and stay in close contact with both John and the Laconia personnel that manage the facility and nurses that attend to John's direct medical care. I was concerned during the COVID period with some of the stories we heard about nursing homes ; but , Laconia did a great job of keeping people safe (both residents and staff). Laconia had good procedures in place and required that everyone follow them. John had some medical problems that he needed treatment for and the nurses would call me and let me know when things changed. On occasions when Laconia staff felt John should be seen at a hospital they would call me , and have him transported to the hospital. Laconia management would let the hospital know that I, as a family member, would likely be calling to check on John. I would call the hospital and with Laconia help ,developed a working relationship with the hospital staff and treating doctors. With regard to care I was very satisfied with the care John got , the Laconia nurses would follow closely what the hospital doctor would put in place. The Laconia procedures allowed for good discussions between myself, John, the Laconia nurses, and staff. Laconia also initiated Zoom calls which I was ask to participate in and did , so I could see the care givers , my brother and his progress. My impression of staff is very favorable. However; all large health care organizations need a mix of experienced people and young entry level people often ask to do menial tasks. Some of this group have not yet developed favorable communication skills. My brother had a problem with one entry level person , we discussed it with the Laconia management and it was immediately corrected. Many staff members have been there a long time and are both knowledgeable and dedicated and very easy to work with. William H

I get that the have to take the more important patients first but seriously the lack of support they have there is insane , instead of bringing me back into an actually hospital bed room I was sat in a triage , and I know they had rooms because I saw atleast 4 kids being put in a hospital room while I sat there uncomfortably at 1:00 am not being seen in time I ended up leaving because my pain was so bad and at this point it was already 2:00 am and wasn't seen at all yet , this place fucking sucks and I recommend that you just stay home from you're pain instead of going to the emergency room where you won't be cared for at all . I immediately remembered why I swore to never come hete again. My doctor was inexperienced. I aas diagnosed with shingles. My skin wasn't examined. She looked from a few feet away and after I told her how it started, she backed away and said "That's definitely shingles!" Shingles, Doc, not leprosy. Today I called ClearChoise MD because I am in a lot of unexpected pain. They say, in order for the doctor presently on duty to prescribe anything, I'd need to come back in for him to examine me. I don't have another $160 when all my info from yesterday's exam is on file. Receptionist then tells me they don't prescribe narcotics, "so I don't know what you expect him to do for you". Unbelievable. If you cannot treat a person for what they go in for, then why would you take $160 from them knowing this. And in the type of care they offer it does say they treat any skin rash. In my opinion, treatment means helping the person get better for the illness at hand, not just sending one prescription out, not asking any questions about Pain or give advice on pain management. Clear Choise my ass. I am hoping to hear from the provider who is in today, to see how this continues.
