The tattooed gentleman (don't let appearances make a fool of you) at the counter was fantastic at assisting me find specifically what I was looking for , as well as his student assistant. They sell arrangements and live flowers in pots too, and, as you'd expect can dress it up nice so that you can give it as a gift. I'd definitely recommend this place, although I suppose a florist is a florist, and you'd expect them all to be friendly and helpful. Then again, this ones been doing it for 40 years.

I collected quotes from several florists nearby and was most impressed with Pearson's Florist on Oxford Street. The staff member who helped me was incredibly efficient and professional (not to mention friendly). I was quoted a good price for the bulk flowers and was able to arrange delivery to the venue (on a Saturday morning) for low cost. The flowers arrived on time and were exactly what I needed. I had asked for them to come loose, so that I could disperse into the vases myself. Sure enough, the lot of flowers sat in buckets of water when I arrived at the venue. After a simple invoicing process, good value and great service, I would definitely go back to Pearsons Florist again when putting together en event.

Now I've ordered a couple of arrangements from here and the custom styled bouquets have all been creative and were wrapped beautifully. They didn't have a big variety of flowers, but they were able to work with what was in stock. The lady was very friendly and helpful and the flowers were fresh. They're a little more expensive than some of the other locations locally, but are open on Sundays (also for deliveries 7 days a week)which helps sometimes. They are convenient to the Gordon train station and I think they are under new management, but I haven't back in a couple months.

I typically leave here with traditional lilies or roses but they are put together in such a spectacular fashion that I can't help but feel delighted taking them home. Last week I went in here to pick up white Columbian roses and sadly they didn't have any. I walked away with a bunch of oriental lilies ($15) which were just as beautiful and unique.

The place is packed to the brim with gorgeous arrangements and outside there are plants galore. They fill the street out the front so you can browse them as you are walking past. Something usually tempts my eye and there I am, walking away with at least a bunch of poppy's. For $10, why not? The people are just so lovely in here and what seems like a straightforward transaction of 'see flower, purchase flower' actually ends up being a convo for ten minutes. They do the wrap for a gift or wrap for home like most places do and I have been satisfied if it is a present and even more satisfied at what they charge me.
