Not the Mother of all florists, but close!…read more I usually walk in and ask for a fresh bouquet, on the spot: who it is for, the occasion, the budget, a colour restriction if there is one and off the florist goes. The flowers are of good quality, they give you recommendations to take care of them, the bouquets are well-made and always with enough greenery in it so that if you are on an empty wallet - I know I usually am - you don't show up with a tiny ridiculous thing. The selection of flowers and accessories has nothing to envy to larger florists. My favourite thing about this shop is that it is organized, but stays alive and messy: you can see the staff love flowers and a lush, beautiful display of colours. The aroma of fresh flowers and the humidity in the air just put you at peace. Walk in even if you don't buy, you'll see for yourself!

It is, but it's much more than that too. The creations that I saw walking out of here whilst sitting in the cafe next door were spectacular - the kind you'd see in a foyer of a large corporate bank. They have a bit more earthiness to them - using things like large bark spirals and palm leaves. There are lots of beautiful florists in North Sydney. But this one is a bit different. They also sell some gorgeous and original homewares - like the match box with a antique style drawing of butterfly and leaf print or the wall art decorations. They also have an eclectic range of quirky and original gift cards and wrapping paper. The wall of candles and incense sticks is pretty impressive too. Ooo and the wooden treasure box of screen printed pillows. Flori e casa - roughly translated to Home of Flowers. Sounds like a lovely home to me.
