These include a a range of locally-made ice creams, preserves, fruit juices and bakery products, as well as unusual cooking ingredients. (It's the first time I've seen black salt on sale.) There's a delicatessen counter and a large butchers within the shop - the latter doing a roaring trade on our visit. It's a bit pricey but it's the quality and local sourcing you're paying for. It's a perfect place to buy gifts for friends and family, if they like good produce. Staff and knowledgeable and friendly. There's a parking area at the front. Highly recommended.

The owner buys his fruit and veg stock on a Friday, mainly from local small scale producers and I much prefer to get stuff from him than the market, as it's not battered and tastes wonderful. Some of the stock is a bit past it's best towards the end of the week as it's not refreigerated, but once he's been out on a Friday everything is nice and fresh for most of the week. Highly Higly recommended and well worth the trip from Bury St Edmunds.
