Wow, no reviews?
Ok then... The official name is Gallery at White Flint.
I bought my top 16th floor unit back in 2005 when the building converted from apartments to condos. It was my first home as an owner. Everything had a high end feel to it. I became a member of the Social Committee, served in various capacities on the HOA, and still have lots of friends there. Over time, a lot of the owners have moved out as it really is not a good place to raise a family. The units are just too small to have little ones running around! The location is superb, about a 5 min walk to the White Flint Metro and across the street from a soon to be renovated shopping center with a LaMadeline, Starbucks, and CVS. About a 10 min walk gets you to the Montrose Crossing Center with a Barnes and Noble and a Target and Giant. Don't forget about the Harris Teeter within a 3 min walk down the hill!
The only negative I've got is that as the head of the Social Committee fpr a few years, it was very VERY difficult to get the residents to help and participate. It was a constant battle to get anyone to life a finger to help run an event. (not the staff, but the residents) What is it, a sense of entitlement or something?
I still own my unit there and with the ongoing expansion of the NRC, have had no problems finding renters. I've seen tenants ( I say tenants because I do not know if they were owners or renters) give the front desk and staff a lot of grief. HEY people, they are not your concierge! This isn't a hotel! I've never had any problems because I treated them with respect.
If I were single or without kids, it is definitely a nice place to live! read more
