Their combined experience , technical savvy added to tons of old school knowledge rival in my opinion any dealership bay or independent shop open today. These 3 mechanics are gifted and considerate professionals that know what they are doing and go the extra mile to do it right. On more than one occasion when one of my vehicles needed repair they offered to pick me up and shuttle me home afterwords which was really generous and unusual for a small shop. I'm not a car tech savvy person but I tend to ask a lot of questions when the truck is in need of repair , they have always been happy to inform and or educate me on whatever repairs or maintenance that was needed . lastly and equally important with Modern Auto Tech is that I was never surprised on the final costs of my repairs , they always make the effort to source out cost effective solutions and present them to me before proceeding with any repairs, this was always very much appreciated. I would be sorry if they weren't around as they are 3 trustworthy gentlemen mechanics that are a rarity these days in this big city . I was so pumped to work with this shop but due to work abroad, I was forced to park my car in the garage for nearly a year. Thanks to my BFF Walti, he took Steph regularly grocery shopping and often out for his own purposes. I ended up selling this car in late spring '10, much to my chagrin of course, and regretted it ever since. Especially b/c I never had the chance to work with Bimmer Sport... Jump to 2017, I found the exact model/year (only different in color) for an amazing deal, and bought it, sight unseen. I dreamt about this car ever since I sold my first one.... Once in my possession, I immediately reached out to Charlie and then embarked on the most amazing car building experience of my life!! Not only is Charlie and execeptional builder, but he's one of the most honest guys I've ever met. He took me through each stage of my build in baby steps, allowing me to organically understand each process. He refused to take my money when I encouraged him to build what I read online, instead, he acknowledged my desires and showed me the way like a true enthusiast. ONE STEP AT A TIME! During that time, I called him nearly everyday like a BF that was dumped and begging to be taken back. He answered the phone EVREYTIME with a smile in his voice. He expressed kindness and patience every time he answered the phone, and most importantly, he LISTENED to my wants. This Summer, Charlie and his team at Bimmersport, built me a dream car. She went for ordinary 325i to extraordinary in a matter of months. They installed full exhaust, 10.lbs Supercharger, ECU tune, lowering springs and slotted/drilled brake upgrade and it was the best money I EVER spent. These guys are superior builders with outstanding customer service and God-like modifying skills. They listen and respond with sniper tact. This last week, they took my car in again and dialed in the tune ever tighter than it was, because they wanted to ensure I was getting the best bang for my buck. Now THAT is class! In the following months, Bimmer Sport is taking on the task of swapping my auto trans to a 5spd w/HP clutch and flywheel, subframe reinforcement, 3.64 LSD rear and new Bilstein shocks along with a complete refresh on my suspension bushings. VETTE EATER!!! They say 'if you go there in the mind, you'll go there in the body'. Well, I have been going there in my mind since 2010 and in 2017, I went there in the body. The last time I felt this much joy, I ran 12.1 sec in the 1/4 mile in my 5.0 Mustang..... I was 19yrs old then, I'm about to turn 42. Keep your eye on the prize, if you want win. Timing belt about to break, valves out of spec and brake booster leaving (to name a few). The car was purchased 2 years before and in need of some love. What i liked about the experience was the no hassle and no bs approach. I was asked a few questions and then presented with some option. Never felt like an up-sell or trying to get something done to the car that i don't need. Also, they took the time to answer questions and explain what is being done. Seeing the passion and dedication helped increasing the trust in what they were doing. Prices are competitive (at least when it comes to BMWs). I would recommend them, even if you choose not to do any work, at least for a second opinion. They are knowledgeable and do go out of their way to ensure you are satisfied. The shop owner Tony, is rude and impatient and Mohamed who helps him in the shop is a fraud. They did the worst fix possible to our truck which broke down and we had to tow it and when we asked for a refund both got loud (it was a $500 refund for the "hour" that they checked the truck and a button that we never needed to begin with). Bottom line, if you value your vehicle and demand respect and patience from your mechanic, you should never go to this guy. Instead I would recommend Acculine Automotive in Pickering, that guy is a gem.
