I absolutely loved this location! Mind you I really like hunting out these kind of whiskey lounges and they are rare. To truly experience good combination of whiskey and cigars, I am willing to drop a solid for it. We came after midnight so the place was quiet. We were taken to the back where I saw a nice selection of Cigars. I tried an Ardbeg sampler of 3 scotches for 40$ as well as a Montecristo no 4. (which didn't seem fresh- it was hard to start up the cigar quite a few times and the price was hefty for it). I loved that we got complimentary pistachios to munch on while sipping away at Heaven. The service was great. For those coming from out of town this is definitely a less commercial local vibed whiskey lounge vs places like Burgundy Lion!

Was in Montreal for a friends 40th and went to Whiskey Cafe after dinner for drinks and cigars. Had a reservation for a table in the cigar room. There were massive menus for whiskey and cigar options. We ordered a couple different flights; I had the Taste of Scotland which was great. Cigars varied in price, started at $20 and went up. Will definitely be back.

I made sure that this was one of my first stops when I was visiting Montreal. I was not disappointed. This place was a gem considering the fact that whiskey is not as easy to come by in Montreal as beer and wine would be. They have an amazing selection of whiskeys and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I enjoyed besides and snacks that you could order along with your drinks. I made sure to check out the Cigar Lounge, where I enjoyed a cigar along with the rest of my bourbon. Great for feeling relaxed in very nice setting. Overall, make sure you check out this place if you love whiskey and want to feel like a classy motherfucker.

The Whisky Cafe has a great vibe, it's got that sexy French film star sparkly zen with dark corners for hiding starlets, and central tables under soft lights for being seen. The Whisky selection is excellent but over priced - the same glass could be $5 cheaper down the street, but only if you can find it. Whisky also does lovely ports, grappas, and wine and cheese pairings, and the cigar lounge is small but hot if you're into that particular allegory.

Perfect. This is where you want to be. Ask for Simon. He will know what you want.

Perfect place for a gathering. This place never disappoints. We love the Cuban sandwich but of course it's much more than food. Have a hot toddy and sway into the cigar lounge. The Rat Pack most certainly would approve. Light it up and enjoy.

Great place! Try a whisky flight or if whisky isn't your thing there's plenty more to choose from! Great atmosphere and service! Slip into the cigar lounge where you won't be overwhelmed by smoke as they have an excellent ventilation system. I don't smoke but my husband does and the lounge was totally tolerable for me. Limited food menu. They take reservations!

Smoke a Cuban cigar and drink whiskeys. Men's bathroom has this funky wall where you can pee on, cray.

Did not go there at the best time (late afternoon / early evening). Single Malt selection is impressive. Pricey.

After a night of endless bar hopping, Mme Lee was the most recommended spot by our local friends to…read moregrab a night cap. I was already a little skeptical, but my group of guys had no interest in ending the evening. After seeing random youngins go in and out of this place, I wasn't at all ready to go in. We ended up spending a decent amount of $$ in drinks and stayed 2 hours too long. Some things I noticed along the way: * Weekend nights are understandably crowded, but overcrowding is another issue. This place had way too many people in way too small of a space. It was one giant mosh pit. * Service is weak sauce. When a group of 12 get several bottles, we expect a certain level of service. It's often difficult to get the attention of the bottle girls when they're off and about throughout the joint. Bartenders were not all that much friendlier and the people out front are kind of not-friendly. The staff's attitude as a whole was probably the most disappointing thing all evening. * Some interesting DJ'ing going on -- one minute it was bumping hip hop and the crowd goes wild, then it jumps to house music and fists come flying out, and then some kind of electronica and people start leaving in droves. Then it goes through a similar rinse-n-repeat process again ... is this for crowd control? * Crowd is generally young and good looking. No complaints here, minus the general dbaggery and agro types acting a certain way all over the dance floor. * Despite what I noted about the bartenders earlier, the pours are on point. Our drinks were made well enough to where it likely kept us there the whole time. * This place would have a super interesting vibe, at least decor wise, on a non-crowded week day.

We got bottle service…read more At the end of the night as the bills are being paid, I asked Dana the bartender for water. I was told no. Seeing this, my boyfriend asks her for water, she gives it to him. I look at her in disbelief and I ask again, she still says no. Not sure whats up with you bartender but that's not how you treat customers.
