So, full candor. We got down on our food so fast we neglected to take photos. But take my word for it, it looked great! Had the Whiskey Butter Burger and Chicken and Blue Ranch Salad. The burger was super flavorful. Definitely in the top 20 burgers I've had. The "flat" fries were amazing. Super crispy and just the right amount of salt. Made in an air fryer? The salad was a generous portion and a great combination of ingredients. I would have them hold on the BBQ sauce or request on the side but otherwise was delicious. The decor was set for the holidays but it was super cute inside and ultra clean. Could have taken my meal in the bathroom it was that spotless. We had the prime rib sandwiches. Hubs had fresh onions, I had sautéed onions. We got the dog a couple of children's sliders. We all enjoyed them with the best steak fries I've ever had. Love the atmosphere and the service is great. read more

Young waitress was not friendly not attentive at all, never smiled, acted as if we were putting her out. had to go find her to order, she never asked if we needed anything or wanted to order another drink, dessert, etc. Had to go in and ask if we could get the check, the restaurant wasn't even busy. Stopped here mid road trip. When we were almost there, I thought, 'this can't be right. There's no restaurant out here.' And there it was, in between the corn fields. So peaceful! There was outdoor seating for our dog and some nice live music! It's laid back. If you're in a hurry, maybe try it another time. I loved the fried mushrooms. Best I've had. Also tried the cowboy corn nuggets- thumbs up! read more

Wow! This place is amazing! We live in Omaha so really do not get out this way much, however we happened to be camping in the area and decided to venture out. We stumbled upon this place and could not have been more pleased with it. We were looking for somewhere with a nice patio that we could bring our dog with us to. We called ahead of time to make sure it was okay, and they were very nice about it. Once we arrived, we were excited to see they were playing live music outside. We grabbed a table, and someone took our drink order and then brought a bowl of water out for our dog! We then started diving into the menu. SO many good options, but we wanted to stay on the lighter side of things. We started off by ordering the Cowboy Corn Nuggets.... OMG! These things were out of this world. Like nothing I had ever tasted before. So so so good. And dipping them in the syrup was a game changer on top of it! Then we decided to give the Whiskey Business Grilled Cheese a try and added bacon to it. When ordering, I told the waitress we were just going to share that. Much to our surprise, she brought it out to us on separate plates each with their own set of fries. Now let's talk about the fries.... I cannot really explain them, but they were thinner, light and crispy. They were delicious! I typically do not finish my fries, but absolutely finished these (well, the dog got a few)! The live music was perfect - not too loud to where we couldn't talk to each other as well but loud enough that you could hear the words he was singing. Also let's chat about the prices. I thought everything was very fairly priced, especially the beer - $3.50 for a beer is a great deal! I ended up going way out of my comfort zone and ordered their Memorial Day Mimosa and I am so glad I did. It was such a fun, refreshing drink! Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this place. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are already planning on taking a nice little country drive back in a couple of weeks! read more

Call 1st! They'll answer the phone if they're there, they will close early if no one comes within a certain time frame. We used to enjoy coming and eating, but drove a distance to find them closed during google maps, face, and yelp posted hours. We sat in the parking lot 8:30 when hours stated 10 for closing. Our party of 6 had dinner on Sunday and had an excellent experience. I didn't catch our waitress's name but she was delightful, start to finish - personable, fun, helpful, and efficient. We have had several family events at Whiskey Springs & the service and food are absolutely wonderful. Our Son's intimate wedding reception was held this summer on their patio - a perfect setting for a perfect couple! We also have had two separate bridal showers held outside (the first one was during COVID and we needed to keep guests safe). Their South outdoor gathering area is amazing too - with trees creating an organic setting, patio umbrellas and Whiskey Springs set up tables, chairs and linens. I would highly recommend Whiskey Springs for an evening out or special events too. Their Sunday afternoon music (1-5 pm) very much added to the ambience. Expensive, understaffed, food fine just not worth the price. Ambiance ok if you are good with big open space

Went in early Friday night around 4 pm and ordered a steak, ribeyes are the only steak option. They didn't have any steaks. Complete out of steaks. I was mistaken as I thought this was a restaurant but it seemed to just be a local bar. The prime rib was good but after $35 I had to pay and additional $6 for a side salad that was pretty pathetic, definitely wasn't worth more than a buck and should have been included in the dinner price. I'm not saying I won't be back, but I won't be back anytime soon. read more

Came on a Friday evening to check it out. Beautiful converted barn as a dinning space. Composite tables and chairs coif have it seem cheap they dressed it up nice. The market price for the prime rib was high but fair. Very speedy service. Very attentive wait staff. Came back Monday for a comedy show. Same great swift service and good hot food. read more
