All associates are college-educated, highly professional journalists, public relations specialists and graphic artists with, collectively, more than a century of experience working in traditional media, new media and graphic design.
Meet the Business Owner: Stan W.
Stan Whisenhunt worked for the Ventura County Star-Free Press for 24 years, the last 17 as managing editor. He directs a professional team of graphic artists, writers, editors and photographers who have made Whisenhunt Communications one of the leading marketing firms in Ventura County. Active in the community, Whisenhunt has extensive contacts across the county. He has served as a commissioner on the Ventura Port District, and as a member of the boards of directors of the Ventura Chamber of Commerce, Boys & Girls Club of Ventura and United Way of Ventura County. He also has been active with the Ventura County Economic Development Association and involved in education countywide.
In 1990, he founded Whisenhunt Communications, specializing in advertising, marketing and public relations.
Whisenhunt majored in journalism at Arizona State University.
