I was left puzzled as to why I'd expect egg in a chicken Jalfrezi. My friend and I inspected the sauce and concluded that this was definitely not egg, but tiny pieces of shredded/disintegrated chicken. What a shame. And what a terrible dining experience. It may well have been the lack of complimentary popadoms at the start of the meal. It is slightly more expensive than your average curry (only just), particularly being so close to Hyde Park. Although the food is clearly made with more care and very tasty, my dish tasted very similar to my boyfriends, prompting the thought that they use the same sauce for everything.
