She seemed very…read morestressed and in a huge hurry, but I figured in that profession that's bound to happen some days so I blew it off. I believe she is a PA not working directly under a physician (I may be wrong on that) and she said she could not do my pain medication. That presented a problem for me, but at least I knew. AZ is very different in health care provider laws than where I came from. At my second visit she still seemed highly tense. When I said I thought I was getting another bout of shingles she started an exam and was telling me shingles don't go away by themselves and other facts about shingles when it hit me what else it could be. So I started to tell her, she froze in her tracks, looked at me as if to bore a hole through my forehead, turned and walked out of the room leaving the door behind her swinging open. Um. What the heck? Did she suddenly have to use the restroom? I don't know. She may know her stuff, I don't know. What I do know is I certainly don't like her style, and she has a lousy bedside manor.

Therefore, I would not see her for anything other than very routine visits. Ricci was a provider for my daughter when she was young. Ricci did seem to have necessary skills to address basic childhood issues (e.g. vaccinations, runny nose, etc). My daughter liked her, but Ricci had a very poor attitude towards me. She was often abrasive and became confrontational when I requested copies of my daughter's medical records, though I did eventually receive the records that I requested. I found going to Ricci was often a waste of time considering her limited skills and the fact that she normally just provided a consult to see an actual doctor. Moreover, her consults were either for physicians that I could have found on my own or preferred not to go with, so there was little benefit to her recommendations.

I have been going to this location since close to when they opened. I have had a great experience…read moreevery time. The wait time is really short. I can walk in and get labs done quickly. Although all the staff are very polite and professional, I especially like my primary care person, Shannon Fennie. She is very pleasant and answers all my questions. I feel very lucky, especially when I hear other people complain about their struggles to find a good primary care provider. It is downtown, which may scare people away because of parking. But there is a parking garage right behind their location and they validate parking.

Imagine my surprise to not be able to locate a single doctor in Green Valley Az for senior healthcare needs. I contacted Banner and was able to schedule a new patient appointment 13 months out from the time of scheduling. I reserved the appointment then found ZocDoc on a google search and called Lisnet's office at Milagros In South Tucson. Got an appointment within a few days. I was very impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness. The only drawback for me was needing a ride to her office from Green Valley. Lisnet made some medication changes and ordered tests I needed. She immediately referred me to specialists for specific testing and they were quick to book and good. The only reason I stopped seeing Lisnet was the 13 month appt with Banner in Green Valley finally arrived and I went as it was 2 miles from home. The MD I have been seeing is alright but not as good as Lisnet. If you are at all able to get an appointment within her, you will not regret it.

She spent time with me going over my health history and gave me options I have never heard of for auto immune diseases that I have been dealing with . Some new some old. I'm grateful that I found her and find her demeanor and bedside manner refreshing in a world where healthcare can make us seem like a number and not the human beings we are.
