I ordered two new tyres for my VW Golf Mk1. Muna (owner) undertook the below with care and professionalism: * switched my front tyres to the rear * sandblasted the old rear rims as they had rust, to remove said rust * bead sealed them * balanced the wheels * put the new tyres on the front. All of the above was done in a genuinely friendly manner. Muna talked me through what he was doing at each stage in easy to understand terms which helped me to comprehend. He also provided advice on a number of other matters. I was talking to Muna throughout as he had lots of tips and advice. AMS Motors is a family business (three generations) that has been operating for over 40 years. Even though I got there at 9am, I witnessed a lot of repeat customers coming in which demonstrates the trust, brand loyalty and experience they have built up. I found this a refreshing experience and would highly recommend AMS Motors.

I went to Taj Quick Fit Hounslow a Week ago and the MOT Tester really p***** me off when he Took…read morealmost 2 Hours to check my Car and at the end it failed the MOT and tried hard to force me to do the repairs from their own Mechanics Who gave me a total of £350 quotation which Included changing of rear fog light bulbs for (£25 plus VAT). Next day I went to another MOT Station Nearby and the guy put the Bulb and re tested the MOT without any problem and charged me £5 for the Fog Light Bulb. All I say is these Peoples in Hounslow are really crooks they try their best to convince peoples that their cars had serious peoblem and need repairs from their own Workshop which is totally a Scam.

Now obviously you won't be taking your brand new car there but if you have an older car and don't need to be paying main dealer prices, this place is ideal. Offering value for money, they will look at any make of car and perform the necessary to get you back on the road or get your car through the mot. Friendly people with a clean and tidy service area, they offer a good service and won't rip you off.

I've been there on occasions when people have brought their cars to him after other mechanics have failed to diagnose a problem, only to watch Franco wield a screwdriver and correct the problem by little more than magic. It's a real family business, and customers are part of the family too. It's a unique experience, one definitely not to be missed if you're a Fiat owner! If only all garages were this good!!

Well, actually…read moreI visited all the bike shops in East Sheen- apparently a very popular place for bike shops considering its size... What can I say- the dude who helped me was very helpful, sympathetic to a fault (actually everyone but me think I had a very serious accident) and made some great suggestions on how to fall off next time. He also spent about 20 minutes helping me get a pair of gloves and fit a helmet. not easy considering both hands were wrapped in miles of bandages... Lovely little shop. Rate it second after the lovely local family owned place. You know what a soft spot I have for those...

What a rubbish service!…read more Came for an annual 'free' service I had booked well over a month in advance. Received a confirmation email twice, including a reminder the day before. Came to the shop on the day (a Saturday morning), just to be told that they don't have a mechanic, they don't why they booked me in and I can leave my bike for Monday. With their ridiculously minimal opening times it would mean I would have had to part from my bike for a week, thank you very much. That free service has a cost: a total waste of time! Will never cycle back there again...
