Yes I have already recommended them to friends and family (I used them about a year ago but was not as happy then). Customer Service has most definitely improved to a very high standard.. Well done guys!! I also appreciate the fact that Flexy Cars accommodated an RAC inspection on the Volkswagen Golf 2009. DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS!…read more The car broke down after 17 days and only 900 miles driven.. the AA recovered the vehicle where on the report it showed that the vehicle had been recorded as having cam belt failure 3 months before they sold me it... The car went into an independent garage and they had the car in for 3 weeks and couldn't find what was wrong with it.. all we know is that it was something to do with the timing chain which could've been that they fitted it with an inferior part or a mistake was made when fixing it but either way it lasted 900 miles and then broke down. I was quoted £12,000 by Jaguar for a whole new engine which they thought it needed! Flexy cars took no responsibility, refused to cover the recovery of the vehicle and insisted it was my responsibility (it legally is not), recovery was quoted at £600 due to distance. Fast forward 12 months and there's too much to mention but long story short, I hired a lawyer and we went through an extremely long winded legal process.. made long by their refusal to meet any of the deadlines, do any of the things the court ordered and constantly avoiding contact, dragging their heels, trying to muddy the waters and create confusion and ultimately getting extension after extension from the court, all the time costing ME the innocent customer who had been sold a duff car more and more money, time, energy and stress. They based their whole defence on the wording my lawyer had used calling it a cam belt fault (which we got from the AA report) when the car has a timing chain. These things are practically exactly the same thing and they were just doing anything they could to avoid responsibility. PLEASE AVOID FLEXY CARS THEY ARE LIARS, DISHONEST, SELL FAULTY CARS AND ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY! I've learnt valuable lessons from this experience but I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. They should be shut down in an instant. PLEASE DONT USE THESE HORRIBLE SCAMMERS AND SPREAD THE WORD 0/5 if I could give minuses I WOULD.

Biggest mistake of my life! I had booked my car in for a routine major service which was supposed to cost £295. But on the day of the service,I was called by the service department saying they had found another fault and this was going to cost me £300 more! As I am not a technician and the department instilled a sense of panic into me and I agreed for the extra work to be done. When I went to collect the car,I asked to examine the part they replaced and I didn't see any defect with it,but I paid the full amount of over £600! On checking the service book I was shocked that it was filled out wrongly by a supposedly qualified technician! it was then that the problems got worse and I began to suspect that the extra work I was told was needed was not actually needed. I suspected the dealership made up a non existant fault to extort more money out of me! When I raised the issue of the unnessecary work and my service book filled out incorrectly with the Aftersales Manager and the Director of the company they were simply not bothered. It seemed to me that they had got their money out of me and were not prepared to rectify matters. I had to question the fact that if a supposedly experienced technician was incompetant enough not to fill out a service book properly, how could I be sure he actually carried out the service or the supposed "repair" competantly? I bitterly regret using this Dealership and I strongly warn everyone to avoid them. I think they are crooks and conmen!!

They provide a reliable friendly and honest service which is quite rare for a garage. We had our car MOT, service and some other bits of work done. They won't try to charge you for work that doesn't need doing, but will give you a heads up if they can spot something that might need doing soon/or to keep an eye on. I have to admit we had a hose replaced as our coolent was leaking and it started leaking again (its a very old car, the weather had changed and we'd been parking on uneven surfaces so it's not really surprising)... we took it back and they tightened the connection (and changed a fuse for us - completely unrelated) free of charge. They are a garage that likes to keep their customers happy and isn't afraid to give a little more than you expect. We think they're great and will continue going back. Note: the outside may be deceiving as they are sandwiched in between houses in a residential area... I hear they will be moving premesis soon though due to their growing business

I chose Kinghams of Croydon because they use Range Rover diagnostics without the dealership price tag. I have nothing but praise for the team who have worked on my car. I was quoted a reasonable price for the repair and importantly received regular progress reports while my vehicle was with them. They even offered a replacement vehicle (terms & conditions apply) so I will definitely be recommending Kinghams to my friends and neighbours. The garage will do what it takes to help you out. Whether it's a courtesy car, a lift somewhere or just a bit of advice they'll see you right. This is a place of regular customers and all are known by name. Servicing is efficient and you can often be fitted in as required. Pricing is reasonable - less than a main dealer but not the cheapest. The upside is good service and knowing that you're not being done. No MOTs (these are outsourced if required as part of a service). Parrington's are good at sourcing cars and will give you an honest recommendation. They will buy cars from individuals too and give a good appraisal. Premium makes are a speciality but all needs can be catered for.

Hearn Bros…read more Honestly, I was going to leave it be until I got yet another text reminder from them asking for a 5 star rating online - no chance! It's a bit insulting when they returned my car with new and dangerous defect both times I give if for them for a simple service! Each time It's been running fine when I dropped it off, but the 1st time I used them, as we drove through France the vibrations around the brakes was so strong we had to stay around 50mph until we could get back and have the brakes changed. A year later, I though, fair enough, it might have been a one off and I'm always quite Brixton-centric, but this time they broke the Diesel pipe for the diesel filter so that car was leaking fuel very obviously when they gave it back. They are shut on Fridays (not mentioned) and we had a boat to catch, so another garage (Manolo - grumpy but great) opened-up and found that off the hoses they had accidentally pulled-out (a few meaning that the car have almost no power above 30mph), the fuel filter connection have been roughly bent and broken. When they re-opened I told them and he promised to pay for the damage, and them never did. Don't bother. Go for the atmosphere, the dappled light through the grease covered skylights, bit don't go with your car.

They build long term customer relationships based on good solid results rather than the overpriced glitz you will find at a dealership for example. Most recently they repaired a large dent in an almost new Peugoet with pearlescent paint (known to be tricky), saving my no claims bonus, and did an absolutely 5* job!
