This is the clamp you would have to take apart!

I've since figured out how to disable the kill switch bs. There are wires underneath your steering wheel column they are green and orange they are connected together by a clamp I'm assuming it's hooked up to the engine.. you can take the clamp apart that will allow your engine to start up however it does not turn off the noise. Do what you want with this information, be mindful that this is voiding the contract but I do understand how hard it is to get to work and make things happen when you have someone restricting your ability to move around especially after paying THOUSANDS for a vehicle. OH AND BEFORE Allan come here talking bs I uploaded my payment history it is PERFECT (chefs kiss) LOL but for some reason I still had to figure out how to start my DISABLED vehicle!!! Don't do business with them guys!

They also attach $1695.00 for the installation of a tracking device. Salesman August presented the tracking device as an optional benefit during his sales pitch for their prepaid maintenance scam*, the full term of which cost $1695 as well. Other fees attached that are apparently common practice at ALL 60 Victory owned dealerships across the country. When we pushed back on the inclusion of the two $1695 up charges, they were willing to remove the prepaid maintenance. When pushed about the tracking device, August asked if we could see any benefit to the device. When we said, "No," August got a blank look on his face, and then repeated his question. We were still "no," which just lead to another blank look and another ask about seeing the benefit. They were willing to reduce the cost of the tracking device down to $699, which they claim is their cost. It took roughly a minute for August to discuss with his manager and return with that offer, so apparently we're not the first to wonder about it. The manager would later come out, and attempt to budge me from my budget. I set a hard top, and the manager, maybe named Peter, kept coming down, and ignoring our concerns about the tracking device. We finally just left, saying we were sorry for wasting their time. About 15 minutes after we left, I got a call from a number that my phone reported was a Chicago masked number, which I ignored because I was driving. It was a voice mail that started, "Hello (my name), this is Peter Gabriel..." and I got skeptical but excited as a huge Peter Gabriel fan. ;-). But he continued, "From Victory Honda. ... I was just calling to let you know I was able to get you down to the (price) that you're looking at I did some maneuvers and give you more money for your trade somebody able to do that for you if you found that the best deal please come back and get the car would like to own your business again I did it for (price) like you asked for thank you and have a wonderful night my phone number is ..." Apparently, these tactics are common across all Victory dealerships. Nitrogen tire fills for Toyotas that have no need, "Optional" tracking devices universally preinstalled, inflated tire lock pricing, passing their costs as additional costs instead of quoting accurate prices on their website.

I am starting to lose faith in this dealership and will stop coming here once my service contract…read moreis up. I already have some reservations with this place because of their owners questionable political leanings (feel free to google him), but the thing that kept me in the contract was the service work that they did. That ended today. I came in and somehow left with over $400 in charges to fix up my car. While this might be small potatoes to most, I do have a service contract. On top of that, they charge for "shop supplies" and have a 3% credit card fee. I asked them to explain "shop supplies" and they really couldn't. Since I had to get to work and didn't want to argue over $38, I accepted it this time. They used to be really hands on with the customers and really walk them through the process so that everybody felt valued. I saw the Rep once when I walked in and she just went through the motions. No more updates, texts, anything. From now on, I will be bringing my car in for oil changes only. I will not be spending another cent more. If the will refund me the remaining part of my contract, I will go to the Toyota dealership a little closer to my house that is not part of this group.

Wow. All of these reviews make total sense…read more I bought my 2026 Toyota Tacoma from Chicago Northside Toyota, and this has easily been one of the most frustrating dealership experiences I have ever had. The paint damage appeared during a routine car wash with manual sprayer and in researching the issue I found similar concerns reported by other owners of recent white Tacomas. The truck only had 600 miles. I went to the dealership expecting help, honesty, and some level of customer support. Instead, I was pushed off, sent through layers of bureaucracy, and treated like the dealership wanted nothing to do with me unless corporate Toyota paid for everything. That was the clear impression the entire time. What makes this worse is that another Toyota dealership that had no prior relationship with me was more willing to help than the dealership that actually sold me the truck and took my money for warranties and service contracts. That says a lot. Northside Toyota's communication was poor, their handling of the issue felt defensive, and at no point did I feel like they were truly advocating for me as their customer. Everything felt centered on avoiding cost and responsibility rather than trying to do the right thing. If you are buying a vehicle, especially an expensive new one, understand this: the real test of a dealership is not when they are trying to sell you a car. The real test is how they treat you when something goes wrong. In my experience, Chicago Northside Toyota failed that test badly. I would not recommend this dealership, and I would strongly encourage others to think carefully before trusting them with a vehicle purchase, warranty issue, or long-term service relationship. I'll be pulling all my current and future business from them.

Then I was told it was only covered for 50%... When it came time to pay for the battery, they tried to overcharge me... But I caught it. Then I asked about the new warranty because it was the same battery. The manager told me there is no warranty because it was covered by the first battery. I said wait a second that means you're not standing behind your product. The manager tried to tell me that it was covered under the first battery's warranty, and because I did not pay full price, it will not be covered under a new warranty. I expressed my displeasure...
