The owner and her staff were incredibly patient and helpful, walking us through the step by step process to ensure we felt confident with the projects we chose. I painted a large coffee mug for $28 (painting supplies, instruction, clear glaze, and firing included) and we were there for a couple hours, just chatting and painting. It was so fun and relaxing! (It actually cured my hangover.) You can also create your own clay pieces, have a painting party in their Party Room, take a class to learn to throw clay on the wheel (I think that's how you say it), or make glass art -and there are many beautiful examples to inspire you. As we drove home we chatted about how excited we are to see our fired pieces in a week as well as how much we look forward to doing it again!

Went here on a Saturday afternoon, and I was told it was an hour to hour and a half wait. That was fine with me. I spent an hour in the area and then I called to ask how much more time is left (not to be impatient, but to see what things I could do while waiting) and I was told it would be another 45 minutes. I started doing something else, and 10 minutes later, I was told it was my turn... that was really unfortunate. When I got there, the staff was super nice and helpful! However, I noticed that I wasn't given all the info other customers were getting. They were told about things like the tools to make textures and what not, but I didn't hear about it until halfway through I was done glazing. I wish there better communication. A great spot though for a calming indoor activity.

I started a class there this summer, but was unfortunately unable to finish it out due to outside circumstances. Linda was willing to work with me on the money I had paid for not being able to complete the course. I was really pleased with their responsiveness. The class itself was very informative. The teacher was attentive, and able to answer any questions. I think that others would enjoy taking these classes.

Linda was extremely helpful and patient with our group lesson. She fired the pottery and we came back to glaze it before she fired it a second time. You can also buy a variety of gifts including from the adjacent jewelry and pottery studio or, better yet, make your own gift for someone special. It's a laid back atmosphere and they offer as much or little assistance as you prefer. Keep your eye out for the Gallery Nights they host complete with snacks and occasional live music. We bought 4 really cool hand made cups intended for Sake wine (but they're also ideal for espresso and baby food!) at the one we attended recently. Higher Fire is a place you've probably driven/walked past dozens of times but never stopped. Next time check it out and I bet you'll be glad you did! The store was filled with all kinds of artworks ~ different colors and textures scattered throughout with projects awaiting pick up in the next room. It was clean and spacious, along with unisex restrooms. The Service:: Our multi-talented instructor (and bartender) did a great job leading the class and crafting drinks! Creating the lasso and first row was a bit tricky ~ but the hand knitting that followed flowed like a pro. Focus is still important as you want to make sure you're consistent with your loops (blanket size). So if you're new to hand knitting, this may not be the best activity if you want to catch up with the girls. It's perfect to take your mind off of the day-to-day stressors and create a unique gift for you or a loved one. I ordered two drinks in between: iced pumpkin latte and mackintosh mule. Not as potent as I prefer, but quenched my thirst. Both drinks were more on the sweet side imo. The Product:: I am in LOVE with my new blanket and currently scavenging for chunky yarn deals! I've unlocked a new obsession. The Verdict:: I would definitely return to make another blanket and/or to craft something new.

(About an hour and a half from me, so I was not familiar w/ the town at all) The house hunting was completely stressful for them, but they finally found the perfect home. I was randomly Googling the streets of Oregon when I spied a floral shop. !!! I should send flowers! I messaged Oregon Floral and Patty responded right away. So incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. She went above and beyond as I had some additional requests. Going the extra mile sold me for life going forward when needing to order anything for my daughter and/or family. The prices were VERY reasonable, the arrangement was SPECTACULAR!!! My daughter was so excited when she received it! Patty was so sweet and wanted to deliver to them personally and welcome them to the neighborhood. However the timing just didn't line up. After reading the positive reviews listed here we called Monroe Street Framing looking for…read moreassistance in mounting a . Initially I spoke with Jeremy who lived up to everything that the reviews indicated the staff with Monroe Street Framing would be. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and extremely helpful. Our experience with Jeremy was everything that we would have expected from the reviews. Jeremy helped us to come up with a solution to wall mount a small hand-made quilt. The agreement was that we would pay for and pick up the foam core two weeks later (we were leaving for a trip). Upon returning from our trip I again called the shop and spoke with a woman who was unable to find our order and insisted that they did not take the order and would not have been able to fill such an order. I called again and spoke with the owner Dave. I explained what had happened and initially he was pleasant and again helpful. He confirmed that they would in fact be able to provide a piece of foam core in the size that we had requested. When he realized that all we had ordered was the foam core his attitude became extremely negative and hostile and his willingness to work with us was non-existent. He explained that they were a "full service" framing shop and that there was no financial benefit for them to sell us the foam core and he was unwilling to do so. I tried to explain that we had been told that this was an option per Jeremy. Dave responded, "I don't know what he told you, but I am the boss and I am not going to do this...try finding it on on-line if you can. Good luck." We were very disappointed with his response and attitude. While we may have only been looking for a piece of foam core this time, "owner" Dave seems to have missed the point of customer service and the benefit of a return customer. We will never consider going back to Monroe Street Framing for any other project, nor will we recommend the shop to friends and family. It seems clear from the treatment that we received from Dave that they do not feel the need to encourage new business. Apparently our business was beneath them. We wish them luck. Within 15 minutes of talking to Dave I called a local sign company, Budget Signs, who agreed to sell us a piece of foam core immediately. No waiting, no hassle and no dismissive, negative attitude. Thank you Budget Signs!
