Last month, I had an issue with a crack on one of my wheels. After researching prices on buying one single new, replacement wheel rim (costing over $800), I thought about wheel repair and Wheel Repair Xpress was recommended by a local tire shop. Had an amazing experience with Wheel Express! I purchased a new set of GM 22" wheels that came black. With color of my truck I wasn't a fan of how they looked and feel they would look better in a gun metal finish. I spoke to Brian at Wheel Express and he recommended hyper black. A little background - I purchased my car as a Lexus CPO. However I quickly discovered that the wheels had been repainted. I'd like to think that the dealer didn't know this so my assumption is that the original owner who leased the car did a poor job of doing a quick and dirty respray. To say this person does excellent work is an understatement. If I didnt know better, whoever runs this business and refurbished my wheels, has magical powers. I own a 1997 Lincoln Town Car Signature series car, the car is clean, bone stock and weirdly enough, the love of my life. A few months back, one of the mechanics at my family mechanic's shop, gouged, scraped, and wrecked (or so I thought) my factory aluminum 16" wheels. The wheels were so bad that they all aluminum shavings curled up all over the wheels because the so-called mechanic didnt use a deep enough socket on the torque wrench. You would think after he destroyed the first wheel, he would have stopped, no, ALL four wheels, wrecked. I called Wheel Repair Express, gave the mechanic the number. Wheel Repair Express ground the damage out, smoothed them and clear coated my wheels. ALL four wheels look BRAND NEW! AMAZING! Brian has been great the times that I've needed his services. After a local tire place put on my new tires I pointed out all the chips and rash they had put on my perfect wheels. They had me contact Brian who came to my house and inspected the wheels. He worked his magic and now the wheels look new again! These guys did great work on one of my rims. It was damaged due to the numerous potholes in the raggedy streets of Moreno Valley, CA causing it to bend and slowly lose air pressure. All I can say is "AWESOME EXPERIENCE!", I found out that I had a crack in one of my OEM rims and contacted four rim repair companies around Temecula (only one other even called me back other than WRX), Brian called me back within 15 minutes of my message, gave me a quote over the phone for the crack repair. I then asked what it would cost for minor curb rash repair and then paint my rims. Brian explained in detail what the time line would be and what each step he would have to take to fix and paint my rims. Brian not only fixed the cracked rim but he found that all of my rims were bent and fixed that too (without even charging me!) he hit the delivery date that was quoted and I could not be any more happy, my car drives without the wobble and is safe and by the way looks badass!! I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado. As with ALL 2015s the clear coat cracks and peels off the wheels. I looked into doing it myself (forget about it) or finding someone who would do it. Brian is the only one who does and everyone I called recommended him. He is doing so many Silverado wheels he went to a new strategy. He bought a set of used wheels and repaired them so he could do a swap out to speed up the wait from 5 days to next day. He picked my wheels up Monday morning swapped my tires onto his rims and brought them back mounted and balanced Tuesday morning. The wheels are beautiful and flawless.
