I had my root canal done this morning and I must say that Dr Denton did a great job. I am very Phobic about dental work and Dr Denton was very understanding. He and his assistant did everything possible to make my visit pain free. The office is very cheerful...Sirius radio is played over the intercom and there are flat screen tvs in the treatment rooms. My appointment was at 10:45 and I was out of the chair just before noon. While I hope i do not require any more root canals any time soon, I will be going back to PDH Endodontics.

Dr. also found an issue that I've been going to the doctor for over 12 months (medical doctors). I ended up at an ENT who said everything was great. Guess - that was after X-rays a sonogram and a scope. I had 4 teeth extracted- implants in a few months. The implant was a perfect fit and I experienced zero issues. Dr. Limbaugh and his assistants actually listen and take the time to talk to me even though they are so busy. During the implant procedure if I experienced any pain they would address it immediately. They cared about my experience and comfort level. They did everything they could to make sure I felt as comfortable as I could be given the situation, lol! A doctor and his medical staff actually listening to a patient... a reasonable expectation to me, but this is not what I have experienced in the past with other dentists which were highly recommend it to me but we're absolutely horrible... so much so that now I immediately experience severe anxiety when visiting a dentist. Dr. Limbaugh understood and did all he could to make this experience a great one. I have finally found a dentist I can trust and feel comfortable with in fact I'm transferring my son's dental care from pediatric dentistry to Dr. Limbaugh. When we arrived I spoke to the young lady that was assisting the docto and explained about her phobia again. They called her back and I went with her. My daughter sat down, they laid chair back and the doctor came walking in, sat down and grabbed the syringe and told her to open up. She freaked out and literally had a panic attack. Her blood pressure was off the charts and he said she'd need sedation before and we could make another appointment. I was livid and he saw that and offered to wave the $300 fee. So, we made another appointment & they called in 4tablets for us to bring. When we arrived for the second time they started with 1 tablet and she was so nervous they ended up giving all of them. She was really loopy and I hoped she'd be okay. They told me to wait in the parking lot and they would call for me to drive up to get her. When she got into the car she was really really upset! The woman who wheeled her out was extremely rude and said sh needed to stop wasting people's time and was so ugly. My daughter told me whe we left that she had been fine, calm and fell asleep before the procedure and when she woke up they were holding her down and yelling at her and saying how she was wasting time and money! The doctor asked her if she acted that way around other people and in front of her friends!!! okay I am so very angry and regretful for taking her there! We made an appointment with another dentist and they were kind and acknowledged her fear and simply talked her through it! My daughter didn't deserve to be treated the way she was treated at Price Denton. It was a nightmare!

My son needed a root canal on a tooth with a child silver crown on it and our pediatric dentist…read morerecommended an endodontist. Jonathan Denton drilled a hole through the silver crown and did the root canal, filling the hole with a temporary filling when done. They don't do crowns so they said we'd have to get that replaced somewhere else. I took my son to my dentist for a porcelain crown, when my dentist removed the silver crown there wasn't enough tooth to put on a crown and it had to be pulled and replaced with an implant. Price-Denton charged us $1553 for an un-need dental work.

They numbed my mom and then waited until the numbing wore off, over an hour, to start. My mom told them she could feel everything, and the "doctor" was annoyed and hateful and just continued. Mama felt everything. She was shaking and crying, and my mom is not someone who EVER complains or lets you know when she's hurting. She's had 3 kids and kidney stones and this is the worst pain she's ever felt. Deborah, I'm not calling her a doctor again because she shouldn't be one, used her thumb placed under my mom's top teeth to yank her up and her mouth more open. Note: she also has TMJ. The (our) cost went from $500, to $1000 when we got there, to $2100 when we left. I will see if I can attach the hateful voicemail that was left on my mom's phone when we requested a call back. AND ILL BE HONEST - I was LIVID when I called the after hours messaging service when we got home. She also said to just "take Advil and Tylenol". That hasn't touched the pain. They put in my notes that the first crown replacement was due to not flossing and the crown that failed after they installed the new crown failed due to flossing. They always tell me how great my dental care is at my cleanings and now my flossing causes crowns to come off??? The prior crown on that tooth lasted 22 years. I also have other crowns that have lasted way more than a year and a half. All of my teeth get flossed the exact same amount. I tried to resolve it, but they refused to move off full price and my insurance won't cover it because Redstone Dental already replaced that exact crown less than 5 years ago. That tells me it's obviously not common for crown failure that quickly. I will get it replaced, but I will not do it with them, and I will not go there ever again and neither will my child. I really hate they refuse to take any responsibility because they are very nice but can offer no good reason why it failed besides lack of flossing one tooth that I apparently neglected while I took care of all the others

I understand offices need policies, but canceling appointments solely due to missed text confirmations--without verifying in another way--seems unreasonable. I would recommend they consider more reliable communication options, especially for situations like travel.
