Worst service I've had in Texas, Daisy L on my receipt had very bad customer service with me but was really great with men when they walked in and even joked with them. It took way too long to get my one order out and everyone else received food except me. When asked if I wanted any sauce of course I said yes. Then the worker replied oh but we charge. Why did she not ask in the beginning of my order. Why make me do two transactions especially if I just waited a full 35 mins for my one sandwich, since when do they charge? Nobody makes a Great Burger than Whataburger. Always fresh, hot and ready to go. Service is always great and the restaurant is always clean. My favorite are the Shakes, so good in the summer time. Might be the best, most accurate Whataburger I've ever had - and I've had quite a few all over the south. I've been traveling through Texas the last few days trying to find a great whataburger - among other misadventures. I found it; you know, it always seems like the clean, super busy highway fast food restaurants do it best. Of the food, their chocolate malt is exactly the way a chocolate malt should be - and then they somehow made it that much fluffier, richer, and more refreshing. A ridiculous shake worth twice as much - for those deviants amongst you, go for their 32 ounce shake! The fries were Absolutely Fresh, piping hot, and salted perfectly. But those great fries accompanied such an amazing Burger! The well-cooked burger had subtle beef flavor, was superlatively fresh, hot, and clean. I wish I could eat here every day - but Kansas City doesn't have the room for a whataburger or something. We can accommodate gross whalburgers though? Whatever the case, a stop here was the perfect way to refuel during our long jog towards SPI. The best stop between Houston and South Padre Island. It is brand new, sparkly clean. Excellent COVID 19 precautions. It is family own. The cleanest bathrooms. Roomy parking lot. The burger was 10 times better than the other fast food restaurants. We tried the nearby McDonald's first and it was terrible with inoperative bathrooms. After waiting 25 minutes in a non packed restaurant we had to ask about our order even though we where the only ones standing around the cashiers...the order was found the fries cold. First off the moment we walked in it smelled horrible, after we paid we go get our drinks and the fountain drink area was so dirty, we do get our food within a good time but our orders were wrong. Nice new store but don't go at shift change. Employees working are more interested In chatting with coworkers waiting to clock in than taking your order. It took 12 minutes to get our order and our food was cold and the buns were not toasted and the cheese was not melted because the burgers were cold.
