But to my surprise, this restaurant served fresh seafood on top of burgers! I initially came here for the burgers but ended up getting the seafood instead. I ordered a plate of half dozen grilled shrimps with a side of rice and french fries. Shrimps were well-cooked and perfectly seasoned. My boyfriend got a grilled trout plate and some snow crabs. He said the grilled trout was a bit too salty. But the snow crabs tasted great. They were extremely juicy and fresh. Interior deco reminded me of In n Out. Even the menu design looked really similar to In n Out's menu. There is a drive-thru if you don't want to go inside the restaurant. All in all, this place was delicious. Food are relatively cheap. And great casual atmosphere!

We were here during the lunch period and it was only half full. We were waited upon right away, had our drink choices within moments. The pork was tender and delicious! I liked the onion rings, although the batter was a bit thick. The green beans were a bit over cooked and had a different taste that was sweeter than I'm used to. The wife had banana pudding, which she said was very good. I had the lemon cream pie, it was very good. I couldn't eat all the whipped cream on top though. Bathroom was very clean, the whole restaurant looks brand new inside. Light colors, good lighting, and a new layout make this a enjoyable venue. The staff was friendly. The owner, Christy, and her staff are incredibly attentive without ever being smothering. I instantly fell in love with the vibe of both the environment and the team. I tried a blueberry vodka mule that Christy created on the spot, and it was yummy x 10! Paired with my Rueben calzone, I also had a beer flight that Christy put together for me after just a couple of quick questions. She was spot on--I enjoyed every single one. And that Rueben calzone? Absolutely divine! If you're a Rueben fan, it's a must-try. The decor is adorable as well! Overall, Mule Kick delivered an outstanding experience--delicious food and drinks, an extremely welcoming atmosphere, and service that makes you feel right at home, even when dining alone and just traveling through. ~Highly recommend! However, I have to eat gluten free, and their menu says that their burgers are gluten free (without the bun, of course). So I've been happy to eat there. I love their fries, too. However, I recently used my NIMA gluten sensor to test the burger, bacon and fries, and the burger tested as "gluten found," so now I know I can't eat there any more. I'm very sad about that because I'm pretty sick of McDonald's (and I can't eat the fries at McDonald's!).
