i used to come here all the time when i was younger, probably close to 10 years ago now. the service was excellent then and they had workers who actually cared about valuing the customer. now it couldn't be more different. the service is horribly sloppy and it's always so busy and hectic. food isn't horrible but they ALWAYS mess up your order somehow. have had some bad experiences in drive thru with workers giving attitude. overall, go to harlingen if you want whataburger. read more

So I usually frequent this place for lunch as it's close by and I like whataburger especially over McDonald's but my orders almost always come out wrong and when I'm in a hurry I forget to check. Also best to tell them to put NO ICE as they will always give you a cup full of ice. Still you'd think the gravy would be the most basic/standard thing in this meal especially as it's one of the main reasons it cost more than a regular sausage egg biscuit meal....I love whataburger but will have to just stop going to this location specifically. This is about the most unorganized WAB, we've ever been to. The other time we visited the food was atrocious! This time we ordered on the app where they advertised buy a drink and a fries and get a sandwich free. Well they charged for the sandwich and drink and we got no fries!! Food is mostly sloppy. You have to triple check that the food is correct bc half the time they don't even come close to how you order it. Drive thru or walking in takes forever. There are a few good workers there but most of the time service is horrible. They don't fill up the fries most of the time they are either cold or old. I'd rather drive an extra 15 min to Harlingen then go to this one in la Féria. Most of the time the drinks have more ice than drink. Overall not a great place anymore. read more

I had to walk out of here, there was cockroaches on the wall, Swear to GOD there was cockroaches climbing on the walls.

I frequent this place due to the Harlingen locations being utter nonsense. A typical visit via drive-thru​ includes waiting 15 to 20 minutes (no matter the time of day), and receiving a small amount of fries and or onion rings, and burgers with way to many onions, or a messed up order. An in person visit includes rude and slow service and probably an even worse messed up order, don't try to complain about it either as they will take forever to address your complaint and then interrogate you and treat YOU like YOU'RE in the wrong. Whatever you do, never go in to order. Waited 20 minutes for a burger and fries, and along with a shake was almost $13. Not worth half that. They give priority to drive-thru and ignore walk ins. In reading other reviews, drive-thru sucks too. Mediocre food - cold fries, flattened bun - in fact flattened entire burger. The Dr. Pepper shake is good though. Never returning. read more

The only reason I frequent this location is convenience... With that being said; don't bother ordering anything specific in the drive-thru. That is not what you end up with once home... This is literally the slowest whataburger I've ever been to if I could give it 0 stars I would. Got to drive thru when there were only 2 cars and all I ordered was a medium shake and a garden salad. Long story short it took me almost 30 minutes to get my order , 7 cars behind me and even when I got my order I couldn't leave because the car in front of me still had not received their order. well got home again ,this is fouth time, yep but im a head i think. order biscuit and gravy ,get home have pancakes and bacon and few other items. was good and i made money. today get home no fries. lost on this one. they dont need people they need a mgr. this place going down hill all this year and they cant even fix the hole at the end of front drive way, kinda fun to watch though as they bounce outa there....................especially with coffee. oh yeah and now whats next read more

Food was great; service not so great. My daughter stood in line for over 5 minutes, and no one told her "I'll be right with you!" And there was nobody in front of her! They took extremely long to bring our order out. Then they lost my receipt and I needed it. read more

Burger was cold even though it was busy with a soccer team. Jalapeños weren't grilled.

Salads here are awesome gives plenty of dressing at no extra charge and a lot of chicken Very clean and friendly. The fish sandwich was a little over cooked and they would have change it but the flavor was great. Will be back read more

So far this Whataburger has done me some solids however, they do tend to take a while and get a little confused at times.
