As So-Cal resident from the land of the "great almighty" In-N-Out, I can honestly say that this place isn't mind blowing, but--to be fair--neither is In-N-Out. That isn't saying that both are not good; they're both good in their own way but to be honest I think that their levels of goodness (maybe not greatness) is about on par with each other. I only visited this area for a weekend and this was one place that I knew I needed to check out. But, I'm a little confused about the lower overall star rating (perhaps the locals aren't too fond of this particular location?). I guess if you're visiting this area (or any part of TX), I would definitely recommend checking Whataburger out. This is probably blasphemous to say but the cheese burger comes very close to what I think of a California cheese burger (would be on point if they maybe added thousand islands dressing?). Also, if you're a fan of shakes (I don't know if this is a temporary promotion thing), you need to try the Dr. Pepper milkshake--it's better than any milkshake I've ever had from Sonic. read more

Came by here after leaving Aransas Pass, ordered pick up with the app but it was such a waste of time. I ordered online to avoid the lines but I had to sit through the drive through to pick up my food. Plus after waiting almost 15 minutes in line when I got to the window my food wasn't even ready. So my online order took almost 40 minutes. Usually Whataburger is great but our two burger meals were just ok. Don't use the app if you have to sit through the line anyways. read more

I'm going to be fair, this Whataburger (as with most places) has good and bad days. I will give a place several opportunities before I post a review or stop going all together. This morning marks the 3rd time I've stopped for breakfast to take to my staff. Once again the gravy was so watered down it didn't even taste like gravy anymore. I get wanting to stretch your product to be as profitable as possible, but this is ridiculous. We went to grab something about 11:30pm on this Friday night. They were extremely busy. Line progressed as usual. The lady that took our order had the sweetest attitude and friendly. The gentleman that has our food and drinks was also very pleasant! Great job Crew!!!! read more

Im not really into fast food for so many reasons. But im working here in ingleside, tx for the week and this was the closest place to eat. It was surprisingly good. I ordered the sweet and spicy bacon burger. Im surprised its actually good. This is my second time to whataburger. The last time i went to whataburger was in another state and I wasnt that crazy about it. But hey its good. Feel free to come and enjoy. Everything tastes fresh. Even the fries tastes fresh. They really need to clean up their work station before assembling the next burger. Almost every time I come here I find onions, peppers, etc embedded into my bun, none of which I ordered on my burger. It really ruins the burger for someone who doesn't like those things. read more

Very slow service, the buns on my burgers always have something on them that I didnt order (like eggs on the top of the bun not in the burger) the drive through is ridiculously slow and for some reason they put a new kid on the register without a "spotter" to help him navigate the POS system. All in all they just need someone to overhaul the staff and retrain management. read more
