I have never had difficulty finding street parking, finding the door to enter can be confusing and you have to ring a doorbell then wait for someone to buzz you inside. I LOOOOOVE the inside of JBTV, so much music history and acts have graced this place/stage. I mean they have a wheelchair signed by one of my hero's, Layne Staley. They usually have free drinks and some light snacks since you stand around for a bit while they get everything ready for the live recording that will eventually be aired on public television, so exciting!! Looking around at all the old music memorabilia is always a fun time. Jerry is the man, suuuuuper super friendly and has been doing this for as long as I can remember. If you ever get a chance to attend a live performance here do it!

In the afternoon each day they show blocks of the same show like Ancient Aliens. They're okay but my very favorite is American Pickers! I came across this show accidentally. The block of reruns is on Wednesday afternoons. Bottom line after watching my Western Shows over and over I'm doing my best to find entertainment elsewhere and maximize the use of outrageously expensive Spectrum Cable TV. Give the history channel a try especially American Pickers and please let me know if you enjoy the show!

One of my favorite channels for years with some of my favorites being Einstein, Vikings, Vietnam HD…read moreand Knightfall. I am fascinated with history and in the early years (1995) of "The History Channel" (now just History), when it was very historycentric, I watched most everything they put on the screen. However in the last decade or so it has been going the way of other programmers with the cheaply produced reality style programs. History had scored some good ratings with untold mysteries type shows but they have gone a bit too far with conspiracy shows, in my opinion. Overall they've been pretty good with the handling of presidents and wars bit not so much with more geosociological offerings. History is in around 96,149,000 American households (82.6% of households with television) while History International has localized versions available in various forms, in India, Canada, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. I was prompted to write about History tonight when I saw a promo for the start of season 2 on February 14, 2021 of "The Food That Built America". Season 1 was good and I'm looking forward to the new one. As their series information says ... For generations of Americans, food entrepreneurs like James Kraft, Milton Hershey, the Swanson family, and the McDonald brothers have literally been household names, but you don't know their stories. Before they were brands, they were brilliant, sometimes ruthless visionaries who revolutionized food and changed the landscape of America forever. This series turns the lens on an iconic selection of bold pioneers behind such iconic foods as Oreo, Cheetos, pizza, and more. Bottom line: There's still some interesting programs to be found in History.
