I have mixed feelings about my first summer jam experience recently . I was able to score some…read moredecent seats in the center for about 110 bucks plus tax . My tickets arrived in the mail on time and the show was supposed to be at 6:30 on a Sunday. I already felt it was a big risk because I had to go to work the next morning. To get straight to the point , summer jam was disorganized where rain caused heavy delays, the show didn't start until 9:30. I felt that the intermissions should of been shorter since we were cut on time and the permit allows music up until a certain hour. There was tons of technical problems where the equipment wasn't that great, the sound was too low and some of the lights above didn't work properly. I felt bad for the dj when MetLife didn't do what he asked . The music itself was amazing , such a great line up and wonderful surprises like Ashanti , Rick Ross, busta rhymes , Kanye west , the list goes on and on . However you can tell they were being rushed and were cut on time, it got so bad to the point that future wasn't even able to perform at the end and dj khaled mic got shut off , so rude. Oh and what I don't like is how there was a gun flashed on the floor seats so half the stadium zoomed out , and then I found out someone got stabbed in the neck that same night . On top of that everyone was so high that I got high off second hand smoke lol didn't anticipate that , I saw people mix Molly and bud, the girls in front of me weebled and wobbled the whole night . I also didn't enjoy getting home at 3 in the morning. While I love the music and hot 97, I can't see myself returning for the sake of safety and their lack of organization .
