Unfortunately the day we came here the park was closed and the gate was chained. UPDATE: we are back on December 28th 2024 and the Park is open!! And it is even better than I thought it was. Poop bag dispensaries in trash cans are spaced all around as well as benches to sit on. The entryway is a nice concrete double-gated entry that has exits to both the big and small dog park. You can park right next to the dog park. And you can easily walk around the interior of the fence line although it is quite a distance

Hunter contacted me within a few days of making a deposit and kept in constant contact while waiting out the weather and my work schedule. We met at the selected time and place and after some brief conversation we headed to the river. River fishing is very new to me. We talked how how to wade safely especially on the slippery and muddy conditions and how to safely wade unfamiliar water. We got started by Hunter evaluating my rig then watched my casting offering tips and suggestions throughout. We discussed different methods from streamers to nymphing as well as how to fish riffles or not. All in all I feel I got a tremendous amount of info from an experienced angler that I could ask questions as they came up and not just a YouTube video. The best advice though was to get out and do it! I felt as if I was fishing with my brother! Thanks Hunter!
