Search Office Space helped me find a new office in Mayfair after my business out-grew its current…read morespace. I had never used an office broker service before, but after a friend of mine recommended them, I decided to get in touch - and it was the best decision I made for my company, as the rental rate of my new office turned out to be lower than I was previously paying, and the space was double the size! The service was top notch, friendly and very informative. If I need to expand my business further - which I one day hope to do - I will certainly contact Search Office Space again.

Hatfield House is a beautiful Jacobean house and gardens in a countryside setting. It's also home…read moreto the Royal Palace of Hatfield which is where Elizabeth I grew up. Out on the grounds is an oak tree which marks the spot where Elizabeth first heard of her ascension to the throne. Okay, it's a plaque marking the spot where the oak tree used to be. Still pretty cool. The house itself is quite nice; it IS one of the ten Treasure Hosues of England, you know. Personally, I found the grounds far more interesting. There are several gardens to wander through, such as the knot garden and scented garden. There are so many beautiful flowers and sculptures to admire whilst wandering around. This is a gorgeous place for afternoon picnics or just to lay in the sun and read. Outdoor concerts and films are shown in the summer as well, I'm planning to catch one at some point in the next couple of months. I'm knocking off a star because: * according to the website and the pamphlets inside, the last people are admitted at 4:00 pm. So why were the doors locked at 3:10??

I found on this building completely by chance while wandering down from the Albert Hall. More…read moreamazingly, I happened to be with a friend who's a scout leader, so we popped in. The building is now a curious mix of a hostel run by a German company and an area dedicated to the scout movement. There are reminders everywhere though to the legacy of Baden Powell There is a large exhibition about the history and work of the scout movement from its inception up to the present day and my friend was impressed with the amount and quality of the information. As there's a hostel on-site, there were a lot of young people milling around the lobby area, mainly from the continent judging from their accents. The prices seemed very reasonable for a Central London location though we didn't view the accommodation

Really funky design with a covered patio-type restaurant area. Just had some olives, cured meats and breads and a couple of craft beers. Really nice setting for a meeting and to bring clients. Can you believe it?! FIVE stars for an estate agent? Well friends, Letz Move deserves the honour!…read more After a lot of pain and heartache caused by Winkworths (aka WANK-worths), I was beyond thrilled to find such a dream agent. My agent at Letz Move was honest and reliable from the start and has continued to be throughout the entire rental process. Basically, here's what makes them top-dog in my book: -Honesty. When I asked my agent if he thought I could talk the rent down a bit, he told me it wouldn't hurt to try. Most agents seem to insist there's no way the landlord will bring down the rent. Thanks to his advice, I knocked off a few pounds! -Simplicity. Almost everything is done online, making the process far less painless. I was able to fill out all my reference and application forms online AND even sign the contract online as well! -Thorough! When I went to collect the keys, my agent met me at the flat and did a thorough check-in with me. We walked around inspecting every inch of the place, making sure it was all up to snuff. And nicks or dings were market down and then put up on the website, which was accessible to me with the login information they'd provided. I was then given five days to dispute or add anything on. -Helpful. Everything was perfect upon move-in, but a couple of days later we had some trouble with our oven. I emailed my agent and quickly received a response from another member of staff informing that my agent was on holiday but that they would be happy to help me out. And they did. Problem solved in less than 24 hours. Most importantly, my agent from Letz Move was kind and approachable. I actually never felt like he was stretching the truth or trying to sell me on something that I didn't want or couldn't afford. The only downside to this agency is that they're not very big and don't have tons of listings, but otherwise I cannot recommend them more!

Letz move made my life hell for 6 months! They wouldn't repair anything in the flat, despite the…read morebroken heating and windows making it freezing cold for the entire winter that I lived there and the garden being ridiculously overgrown. The flat was disgusting and dirty when I moved in, but I was desperate to move quickly so I took it regardless. I spent the first few weeks cleaning as the cooker was covered in hardened gunk, the cupboards were broken and the bathroom had so much mildew that I actually showered at the gym until this was all removed. The maintenance woman rarely returned my calls and took 5 months to get the work done, but strangely they were quick to contact me when the rent was a day late. They then tried to take half my deposit when I left, claiming that they needed it for cleaning fees which made me laugh as it was cleaner when I left than when I first moved in. Fortunately my deposit was covered by the deposit protection scheme, and 6 months later I have gotten this all back, after months of bitter disputes with letz move who even went so far as to make up far-fetched stories with no photographic evidence (which I did have). This agency have actually put me off renting, but I am fortunate to have found a lettings agency who are honest, quick to deal with problems and have a good reputation both online and from friends and colleagues.
