So after years of me hanging out and shopping at Tucson mall, I finally came to try this place out…read more I remember I would always walk by here and smell the pretzels but never knew why I didn't try it. Maybe it was my self control to stick to my diet and not indulge myself with carbs. Well I broke my diet that day and finally went for it. Not to mention there was a pretty cute staff member there, however besides that there was a large variety of pretzel flavors to try. Flavors ranging from your ordinary plain, unsalted, parmesan, ranch, garlic, jalapeno, cinnamon sugar, cinnamon raisin, caramel crunch, and iced cinnamon swirl. Now imagine standing here for 10 mins indecisive and trying to decide what to try! I was recommended to try the cinnamon sugar since my sweet tooth was jumping around all excitedly in my mouth! I went for the bite size ones to make eating simple and less messy. It was great, it wasn't over sprinkled or less sprinkled. I think I shall be coming here more often, especially to try the other flavors and no it's not for the cute staff member as I'm sure some of you are thinking!

Their lemonade is also good. This is my kids' favorite pretzel place and they always want to stop here when we're in Tucson.

However, they do offer pretzel bites (salted or unsalted), which is what my husband opted for. He said they were good but a small bag of them costs $6! That seems a bit steep for the amount you get. The lady behind the counter was kind enough to give us some cheese dip for free. I think usually it costs a little extra for those. All in all, if you're at Tucson Mall and want a big pretzel, this will do. But it is a tad on the expensive side. The pretzel bites are somewhat greasy, too. I'm not sure why, but it made the dough seem underdone.

There was a huge local crowd there, but plenty of room and welcoming to us. They occasionally have food trucks, it is just difficult to discern what hours they are there and how to order food from them. There are a lot of taps but the most disappointing thing was that this brewery only offered one of their own beers. Everything else was from other breweries. A lot of good local ones, but when we go to a brewery we definitely want that brewery's creations. That is the main reason for the rating. Otherwise we really enjoyed this place and would come back when they have more of their own beer to offer.

It's even better when you get it straight from the source. What I love: An expanded selection of small-batch beers you won't find anywhere else. There were like 3 IPAs I'd never heard of before. They even had a lager made with pickles! (not my thing, but it has fans). You can also tell right away this spot is great for large groups, and the patio is like 50 feet long--probably amazing in better weather What I like: You can't go wrong with the food, either. I'm a big fan of the southwestern egg rolls (a better rendition of them than a certain chain restaurant). The sandwiches are decent. Nothing really sticks out as a signature item, and nothing is made with a particular beer pairing in mind, but I'll forgive them--it's solid food. When it cools down a bit, I'll certainly return here to try more lesser-known beers and a snack. The location is a little out of the way, but you won't regret going a couple miles outside of downtown for this.
