All the tables were full and customers were constantly coming and going. I can see why after checking em out. Pricing is fair. If you compare it to auntie Anne's they are cheaper with better quality ingredients being used. Service was very quick - there is a kiosk at the front counter or you're able to order with a staff member. Within 5 mins our snack was ready. My husband and I tried a salted pretzel with nacho cheese sauce and creamy mustard sauce. The pretzel itself was cooked perfectly. Texture wise it was somewhat crispy on the outside with a very fluffy center. The nacho cheese sauce was better than cheese sauces I've had before. The creamy mustard was reallll good, we ended up taking the remainder of it home so we could use it for something else.

My husband and I ordered a pretzel dog and the Monte Cristo stuffed pretzel to share. I loved the pretzel dog, it was my favorite. A good sized hotdog wrapped in pretzel with salt sprinkled on top, so yummy! The Monte Cristo stuffed pretzel was served with a raspberry serrano jam. It was tasty, but my husband and I thought it tasted better with mustard. It was good, but their pretzel dog won out over that. Next time I'm in the area, I'm going to revisit this restaurant. They have a lot of pretzels and stuffed pretzels to try.

The interior of this spot is kinda small, but in the summer months, the outdoor patio really shines! The bartender was funny and friendly during our quick interaction!! We enjoyed the Peach Hefeweizen, which was a refreshing and tasty treat on this hot day! I'd absolutely go back to sip on that again!

Lake Bluff Brewing Company has been in business quite a few years. A kind of limited amount to choose from but these are well crafted. The prices are okay if a bit higher. Came in and we got a table so we could drink and eat. It's only got beers but you can bring in stuff. There's plenty of places within a fast walk. As for the beers here, the selection is kind of limited. It's about $7 a pint. Best one we got was the Sour Belgian Monkey Strong Ale. It's 9% ABV and certainly strong. For food we went to The Otherdoor. It's about $11 for a few tacos. Also Maevery Public House is next to here. There's lots of close by restaurants and stores. Have a good time with beers and games. It's just beers on the menu but you can still bring in stuff. They're open every weekday and open longer on weekends.

We started with an enormous pretzel with yummy cheese and mustard dips. All of the food was as absolutely delicious and nice big portions. I think we could have shared one plate but maybe next time. We were too full to get one of their very appealing desserts. Our server, Elizabeth, provided excellent service as she was friendly and very attentive It was a pleasure and we will be back when we come back to town. Thank you for the great experience. The reviews advertised authentic German food. As a German I had to try it. The potato pancakes were a good start, tasted like mom used to make. The Platter had a lot of food. I don't know what region this place is from, the sauerkraut and Blaukraut were not Bavarian, the Spätzle felt ready made and not home made. The Bratwurst was too fine for me, I'm thinking north German. The strudel was good tho. The service was fantastic! From host to server they took care of me and made sure I wanted for nothing, so I can't complain there. Decor wise this looks like what you'd imagine a German restaurant looking like in the US. Lots of banners advertising beer and German flags hanging on the walls with a collection of steins everywhere you look. Overall it's not "authentic" for me, but the food tasted good and the service was exceptional.
