I did get a partial favorable win on my disability case but none of that was credited to this law firm. They request you to only communicate with them through their app email. They are extremely non responsive to any and all communication. I sent multiple emails throughout the year process and none were responded to within a week, some took 2 weeks to respond some were never responded to at all! I even had to call the law firm about 10 months into my case to make sure they were still representing me in court because they had gone so long without any responses to any email or any answers to a single question I had. I was completely convinced that they had just decided to not represent me anymore. I provided all the information they needed for my case as I had been dealing with SSA for 2 years prior. Then after they were overpaid by SSA (25% on $8,000 more than SSA actually awarded) they still sent out bills for collecting medical information that I provided to them. If you use this law firm you will not talk to your actual lawyer until the day before your hearing. They do nothing but introduce themselves to you and tell you if they think they can win the case or not and during the hearing they do or say nothing to help. They just sit there until the hearing is over and then they tell you how they think the judge will settle your case. During closing arguments they do not speak or try to help clarify any questions the judge may have about some answers you had given that may have not been clear. I reached out to Wettermark Keith back in August to help me with my disability appeal and signed up with them. I only spoke with them a couple of times and only once to an attorney - and they acted as if I was a Nuisance to them. I was able to get help from my doctors and the hospital and won my appeal. I have yet to hear anything from Wettermark about me getting approved despite me leaving messages. I bet they will be quick to collect their part. Do not use for Disability. They show up, tell you not to speak at your 1st court appearance then when you are turned down as 85% of people are they will send you a letter that they quit your case. I contacted Wettermark Keith after my husband passed away from cancer. They advertised they took Zantac cases. Well, they sent my case to a firm in Florida. That firm left me hanging for over 2 years and finally sent a letter saying the judge turned down the evidence. They would appeal on my behalf if I wanted. Then they text me saying to call them. The young lady informed me that if I wanted to appeal the chances were very slim and the zantac attorneys could go after me for their fees. I decided to call them back and talk to them again and got a person taking new cases for Zantac. I called wettermark Keith and they were taking Zantac cases. I was sent to a lawyers phone and was told he would return my call. I have not heard a word from them. This firm is not very reliable and can not be trusted. I feel like I was given wrong information and lost any chance of getting any help. I really needed this case to help me. I lost 2/3 of income when my husband died. I live check to check. I made the mistake of signing with this firm after being in a car accident. It took months and several calls to find out who the Attorney would be representing me. The Attorney assigned to my case was rude, condescending, didn't communicate well at all, to the point that I reached out to Keith (partner) of WetterMark keith , he was dismissive, rude, disrespectful and condescending. Telling me if I didn't like how his attorney communicates, feel free to end there representation, knowing dayum well if I terminate them and get another Attorney WetterMark keith will put a lien on future money's from future lawsuit . Initially very impressed at the professionalism. I felt validated, especially after a lengthy conversation with my attorney. I called the attorney's case manager twice, no response. I finally spoke to David today. What he told me didn't add up. My case was being dropped, upon review of a Senior Partner. I've not received any written correspondence . Just heresay from an employee. In my opinion, this isn't a firm of integrity. The negligence of my injury that Wettermark Keith were initially compassionate to; abruptly changed their view turning it back on me. Suddenly, I'm at fault for a property's negligence. Why? David quoted my former skating coach, Craig Henderson's words, "You're an advanced figure skater." Then David proceeded to mention skating isn't popular in Alabama. Shelby County is very conservative and doesn't look favorably on the Plaintiff. Skating is a dangerous sport. Hmm. I'd just had my private lesson. Why didn't my former coach speak up? Because the City of Pelham persecutes those that do; per Wettermark Smith attorney L. Hume. First and foremost, my skill level has nothing to do with my accident. Secondly, ice arenas have an obligation to keep ice safe for skating. Alabama isn't exempt from these laws. I had an open disability claim. My case manager was great. We were in the appeal process and I had been told it could take up to a year. during that time, about 3-4 months into it, I got a phone call from one of their lawyers informing me that the case manager had quit without filing my appeal. Also they would not pursue my case, because starting over would make no money for them. So good luck to me. I am now no longer eligible for disability. They waited too long to inform me. I would not recommend them to my dog. All they want is money, they could careless that I was done wrong by their firm. If I could have given them negative stars I would have. I needed that disability, now I live an extremely hard life financially. Because I have debilitating diseases, I will never recover. Financial aid is not available to me. I've tried. I'm betting they all know where their dinner is coming from every night. read more
