They truly feel like part of the family, helping to raise our daughter in a loving environment; and they operate a reliable business. For example, Kids Village always prepares for coverage during their personal time off; whereas a typical home daycare provider will take vacation time off, and you will need to adjust accordingly. On the flip side, they offer off hours child care with someone that your child is already familiar with. This is extremely important to us, as we don't have any family nearby for nights/weekend babysitting. The size is just right too; not too big where our daughter's only exposed to her own age range, and not too small where she doesn't have plenty of role models (and opportunity to be a role model). We have been so pleased with the clean, loving, fun, nurturing, educational environment that they've created. They truly are helping us raise our daughter, the way we could've only wished for.

It takes a special person to do what these ladies do and they do it very well. My son loves them, as do I, we feel like we are part of a family. As a first time mom, it was tough trusting the care for my son to another, but at our first meeting it felt warm and inviting like I've known them forever and had no doubts that this was the place for us. My son just turned 19 months old and I've been amazed at how fast he's learning. They are great teachers, role models and all around great people. Thank you for taking such great care of my son and teaching him everyday. We love you all very much.

I want people to know what these people did to me…read more I came to UConn February 2024 for a routine colonoscopy. I had a long history of colon problems and did this every 5 years. When the procedure was done, I was told I was in great shape and didn't need to come back for 10. Well, 90 days later I was back in their er with abdominal pain. I was given a dose of strong pain meds and when it wore off I was told to leave. I asked what I was to do when the pain returned and was told I was to just go. I have no recall of seeing a doctor that night. 30 days later I was at Manchester memorial complains of the same problem. They did a ct scan and told me that half my colon was infected. I went to icu and was on strong antibiotics for about 30 days. The antibiotics failed to correct the issue and , after 30 days I was transferred to Hartford hospital where my large intestine was removed . I now have a permanent ileostomy. When I complained about this, John Dempsey listened, at first, then my calls went largely unanswered. My life will never be the same. I have diet restrictions, and the starts to kidney disease, "unfortunate side effects ". I will tell my story to anyone who wants to hear it. This hospital is a joke and should be avoided.

I did however recently spend a weekend on the campus familiarizing myself with the grounds and availing myself of the facilities. The campus is spread across 300 acres along the Farmington River. Most of the campus buildings are located inside a mile loop surrounded by sprawling fields that include a football field, several baseball and soccer fields and tennis courts. The campus also has an art museum, concert hall, greenhouse and chicken coop. There is a large athletic facility with an 8 lane 25 yard swimming pool. The dorms are clean and well updated. The interiors were all well maintained with clean carpets and freshly painted walls. Every thing looks like it has been recently renovated and doesn't have the worn out institutional feel a lot of dorms I've seen have. I only had a chance to see a small part of the campus but what I saw was very impressive. While at Loomis I went jogging along the mile loop around campus, went sledding near the river, and went swimming in the indoor pool. Overall Loomis Chaffee has a beautiful campus that feels more like a small liberal arts college than a high school and gives you the feeling of being nestled away deep into the heart of New England. The school has an excellent academic reputation and a particularly good history department. I'd highly recommend scheduling a visit if you have the chance. snow fields unsullied as much as a place can be by traffic or want

If you are lucky enough to be admitted, it's a great place to enjoy high school. There is something for everyone, and even after spending four years there, it's hard to take advantage of everything the school has to offer! There are so many opportunities.
