This review is about the business practices, not those people. I came to Valley Funeral Home having lost my mother. I communicated a firm budget upfront and was explicit that all services needed to stay within that amount. The final bill exceeded it. When I raised concerns, I was told it would be escalated to leadership and never received a follow-up. When I asked about payment options, I was informed there would be an additional surcharge on top of an already over-budget bill. Families in grief are among the most vulnerable people there are. They deserve transparency, honored agreements, and communication. I did not receive that here. I would strongly encourage any family to get every cost commitment in writing before proceeding.

That, my friends, is priceless. Barb
