She was very informative and gave me multiple options instead of rushing me into a deep cleaning like other dentists. I have gingivitis, so she suggested something more thorough than a regular cleaning but not as intense as a deep cleaning. They applied a topical numbing gel, and I didn't feel a thing! Honestly I would have NEVER had my wisdom teeth extracted especially after two of my friends informed me of their subsequent extreme pain for 4 days which apparently is quite common. Side note: they had their extractions w/ different dentists. If I had known this guy was a miracle worker I would've done this procedure a lot sooner. FYI, I don't have a high threshold for pain and to my pleasant surprise I had absolutely ZERO pain. The next day I had slight discomfort and a little swelling but absolutely no pain and that's what I was dreading every morning when I woke up.
