In one corner is a place for fresh cut up fruits -- in smoothies and other concoctions. There's a case with bakery goods. And some cooked foods. Contrary to previous reviews, the fried chicken place is no longer here. Instead there is an Argentinian Picanha restaurant (where we ate lunch). See the separate review. As we browsed the market, we noticed some prices were quite high while others were reasonable. We wound up getting some wonderful baby bok choy, some hamburger, and some steaks. We will be back...

Attached to the market but independently owned is the Ying Korean Chicken Street Food Style restaurant. There is also a phone fix it kiosk at the entrance to the market. Th inside of the market was clean and well organized. There is a fresh juice and smoothie stand. The rest of the market is the typical grocery store items along with produce and a meat counter. The produce looked fresh and they had some interesting things you might not find everywhere like sugar cane stalks and chicharon pasta. They even sold pots and pans. The groceries however were very expensive. For example a small bottle of sesame oil was $12. With so many businesses in one spot this was still an interesting stop.

And we walked the entire length of all the booths. The market itself was in an area that we'd never been to by some various parks and Royal Palm venues. The booths were wrapping around part of the lake and along a path parallel to the main street. We found a parking spot under the trees when another car pulled out. Everyone was quite friendly, too, as we walked around. Vendors of jewelry, clothing, honey, handmade soaps, pet products like dog chews and dog beds, guacamoles, breads, candles, cookies and brownies, plants, microgreens, gift items, et al. One area had a few food trucks and was near an outdoor picnic table. We did try some delicious and refreshing "made that morning" conch salad. I'd definitely like to come back again. It was fun to browse and get in a comfortable walk as well as getting some ideas for holiday gifts.

Being as it…read morewas my first time, I parked inside, and it was a long wait to get in and a longer line to get out. Unless you find parking outside and walk, but know it's a long walk and that the sun gets hot. There are so many different food venues with such a great selection. It's hard to decide lol. I got samples of so many different fruits, which were heavy to carry around. Luckily, I had a reusable bag attached to my bag, but it was so heavy with my purchases. Everything is so clean, including the bathroom. The staff keeps everything clean. When I was leaving, a band was setting up, but I didn't have time to see. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the fruits and what you find is good. They have several fruit and veggie stands you can shop around

I enjoyed an arepa rellena de pollo from a Venezuelan spot along with mango with chamoy and tajin elsewhere. Others in my party got oysters, Jamaican patties and fresh juice from a Mexican stand. What was lacking was definitely the efficiency and service, some things we wanted to order we realized was not available or would take too long to wait for. Some businesses only had 1 person doing it all so unfortunately had to settle a lot and the food was average for the most part. This establishment is such a great spot for a day you want to browse for plants, buy some produce, try out some teas and so much more! Arriving here was very confusing as there was barely any signs or indication where to enter. Be prepared to walk a lot from the parking but also indoor/outdoor because there's so much to cover here. I'm eager to return and try other food spots along with maybe bringing some exotic fruit home or buying from a local business.
