As a former Westifield Student, Westifield is not a good school. It only focuses on giving students academic and mental stress. It does care if students may be so bombarded with all the assessments and tasks that they give. The school management is just so awful. As a student here i am saying this with respect for the school but this school is absolutely horrid the rules here make mo sense to follow and without a good reason too and dont get me started on the things i have seen here, no joke i saw the principle picking on 7 graders when they did nothing wrong and if you were to go here i heavily recommend to keep stuff inside the class room, the school in general is hypocritic and narcissistic and the teachers are either not payed anough for the things they have to deal with or not payed at all please AVOID THIS SCHOOL there are much better options that this school your basically sending your child to actual hell if you send them here they also pick favorites and disliked other students for no reason and it has terrible management of everything about it DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS SCHOOL read more

Let me update the reviews on this highschool, nothing here had ever changed, everything remains the same with the unprofessional administrative staffs, no change in the janitors (no addition of a female janitor), expensive tuition fee but nothing is ever unique to the school other than strict rules with i guess good teachers. The restroom had never changed, it is always left by students who are unruly and undisciplined lower batches. There isn't a single restroom for privacy. Teachers are underpaid and have a very tight schedule, thus do not upset the teachers as well as school staffs because they will hold a grudge, which is unprofessional in their part. (there will be a continuation of this review) 1. This has to be the worst "prestigious" school, they do not care about anyone at all, I do not blame the teachers, the management and how they do things is so bad, that I would not suggest any parent to enroll their children here because of the disrespectful and bad environment they give to their student. -Issues in this school: -The SHS Principal, Doctor Bunuan, is prideful of herself and does limit or filter on what she say, she is disrespectful, and I had heard rumors of students of the past getting insulted by the recent SHS Principal, and as well as insulting their parents. Which her attitude did not change, due to that fact her greediness is visible as an SHS Principal who values the position due to money. -Sir Tangco, he is a very disrespectful person with strict morality uncaring of students freedom to do anything, and a hunger to express his positions' dominance, he mostly targets the Junior Highschool Students, which instilled fear to them knowing he holds power within the school. Had raised voice to students who are very young. As well as, likes to use his position and criticize any student he comes across. -Teachers, they are chill and nice, would help you if you don't get it, some are strict but due to the fact they have rules set up during classes, the teachers are unhinged and work overtime, as well as, still underpaid so some may get easily irritated, some are stressed and not suggest to approach when too much of their time is taken, appreciate to all those teachers who suffered in westfield. -However, they stick their noses too much in the private life of students, some would rather have you in school despite being sick and such, but other than that, they practically know the students' social life. 2. Students, there are two things that are annoying within the school premises and those are specific students that have a god complex, and the one that spread drama and too much unecessary issues. -the god complex students, these are the type of students that revolves around showing supremacy over those students who have suffered by the school management, in their eyes they see those students as inferior as they lack in academic, thus thinking everything revolves around them for being too smart. -the drama, majority of people in westfield are full of drama, each and every students in a section backstab eachother, some trashtalks or talks behind someones back, they like to start rumors, and love to spread secrets. These people are untrustworthy and unreliable when it comes to social life in westfield. 3. mental health, westfield does not care about the students' mental health, you can suffer, ask help for teachers (which most likely wont help u cause they are busy). Even with all of that they still do not care if you struggle in academics, or something happened in schools, some certain students are bullying you, making fun of you, and etc.. they wouldn't give a thing or two about a students' mental health or issues, they only care about their money as well as their reputation of being the so-called "prestigious highschool" which is utterly unqualified for westfield to use -due to westfield being solely focused on acads and turning students into "smart and well nourished kids". it is all about the marketing strategy of this school, they do not care if you are underperformed, they as well won't help you if you are slow. because all teachers and administrators would rather focused on high achieving students. read more

Do not enroll in Westfield. Believe me, I study here. Some teachers are really good, but the management is awful. They love to gossip about students and their private lives. The people in the administration do not care about the teachers and the students. They have no respect. Dr. Bunuan, the principal of the high school department, once said inappropriate words in her class. She called students "bobo". Once, she even told the students that one student's mother was "bobo" for complaining to her on a phone call. The principal is an arrogant and prideful woman who is plastic and fake. She might look and sound like a nice person when you meet her, but in reality, she will judge you and your child. If you complain about the school once, she will avoid your phone calls the next time you try to talk to her. The people in the cashier are unprofessional. They get easily irritated and will not hesitate to talk over you. The announcements for important things are always late. Sometimes, there isn't even an announcement. You will only find out through word of mouth. The grade school department has a gay teacher who likes to get close to male students. That's just disgusting. There is a professor in the senior high school department who does nothing but talk about conspiracy theories and politics IN A CONTEMPORARY ART CLASS. How are politics and contemporary art related? Aside from that, the professor wastes his students' time by talking about classical and modern art IN A CONTEMPORARY ART CLASS. Additionally, HE IS A MARCOS APOLOGIST! Let this be a warning. Do not give this prof a chance to inject garbage into your child's mind by enrolling him/her here. Also, do not fall for their marketing! The statements and reviews from their stakeholders are not true! The principal asked parents to write good things about the school without telling them that it was for marketing purposes. Of course, if you were a parent, why would you write something bad about your child's school if you knew the principal was going to read it? The principal would probably sabotage your kid's grades! Please, do not enroll here. You might think that this school makes kids smart, that is not true. They like smart students but disregard the slow ones, the ones that need the most attention. Students here are smart, but they are also sad and stressed all the time because the workload is too much to handle. They usually have no time left for their families and for themselves because the teachers give them so many assignments and projects. If you let your child study here, he/she will pick up the gossiping and backstabbing attitude of the management too. Westfield focuses too much on academics. It nourishes the brain, but not the heart of the students. Due to too much focus on acads, the underperforming students are forced to cheat just to get good grades. Also, most of the teachers here have favorites in every class. If your child isn't one of the favorites, his/her grades would probably not look good. The students may look disciplined to you, but there are actually many bullies and backstabbers among them. They do not fight physically in classrooms and hallways, but they fight and bully others on social media. The rooftop garden being advertised is not as pretty as it looks. It's too hot to stay up there. The toilets have no flush. Almost everyday, Westfield does not even have water. Sinks are always flooded too. The gym in the grade school and the high school building is like a parking lot. Considering that the owner of the school is an engineer, the tile flooring was poorly designed. Students slip and fall all the time during PE classes because the tile flooring is so slippery. It is even more hazardous on rainy days. One time, after the Taal Volcano erupted, the whole gym's floor was covered in ashes. We were forced to dance there! I nearly slipped! They even made us sweep and clean the gym ourselves. The management did not even think of telling the janitors to clean the gym for the safety of the students. If you come across this review, please share it with your friends.
