He started Kip McGrath requiring additional support with English, within six months of working with Sarah, his reading ability had improved so much that he became a free reader, he has a better understanding of the basics of the English language, works independently during big write tasks, has improved his understanding of grammar and his ability to spell - but most importantly, the confidence he has in his personal ability has improved beyond all recognition and this has had a lasting change on his personal mental health and wellbeing. My eldest (at senior school) also struggles with English, most of the assessments in his year at senior school are creative writing tasks. He is just not naturally creative. Kip McGrath has helped my son more than he will ever realise, Sarah has provided the tools so he can tackle the challenge of analysing big pieces of text; whether Shakespeare or in a Gothic style for example, so he can confidentially critique and draft his answer to test questions.
