To my great pleasure, Matthew from A.C.E.S. was super professional about it & offered to either refund me and I could return it, or they would help facilitate the repair. The latter is what ended up occurring, and even though it took many months longer than expected for the W2 to come back fully functional, but when it did, Matthew indeed made good on his word to reimburse me for the repair work done (by another amazing company, local synth wranglers "Bell Tone Synth Works" (if you are a synth person in the tri-state area, they are the *best*) Anyways, would 100% buy another weird music item or other oddity from A.C.E.S. in the future. I did win many of the items I bid on and lost a couple due to higher bidders, as expected in an auction. My wife and I went up to pick up the items and I got delayed on the gun applications, which was sort of expected with an election going on. I looked at all the items and they were exactly as represented and actually I was pleasantly surprised with the condition as it met or exceeded the pictures and description. As to the prices, they were really fantastic and because I read the fine print, I knew there was a percentage fee to the Auction House for online bidding. The fees are standard and expected, so I was aware of them and still adding them in to the prices I got really excellent deals. I would buy from Reata with complete confidence. The staff were extremely helpful and positive, we discussed some upcoming auctions early next year and I look forward to placing some bids on some really great stuff. If you are looking for art, or modern or antique weapons and so much more you should check out Reata and if you are like me, local, go in and see all the cool stuff they have and talk to their very helpful staff.

I was told someone else was mistakenly given my item, but I was assured, they would retrieve that item. I called and emailed Mr. Harris at least five times, he did not return a call or text. A month later, he discovered his company made a mistake and put the photos of an item with an incorrect description, which he sold to me. Finally, his reply, 'my bad, sorry', he did not make it right - no refund. The phrase "caveat emptor" is Latin for "let the buyer beware."

I said I would prefer to go to auction. They responded by disabling a working item for preview (that had just been serviced to be in working order), incorrectly listed it on their website (they didn't bother with a brand name, model or year) & then sold it for a fraction of the value. When I complained, I was told they "were sorry I felt that way" and nothing more. After years as a customer, I will not go back.

If you want killer deals then make a trip out, there was this entire dinning set (table, chairs and sideboard) that sold for $10 and a HUGE sectional with a hide-a-bed and reclining seats that sold for $525!! There was a high-end Baldwin piano that sold for $900 and beautiful china cabinets with matching table and chairs...this place is awesome!! The auctions are sorted into 4 different rooms two inside and two outside. The items get better in quality as they move from outside to inside, back to outside and then to the last inside room which carried some big ticket furniture and appliances. There is a $50 refundable deposit on a bidding stick (which you need in order to participate in all the fun) and let me tell you it can get intense!! It's a great date idea and good fun for any one.
