All the staff here are friendly and respectful. It is easy to book your stay here and easy to check out. There is always fesh lemon infused water in the lobby. There is also coffee and tea. The rooms are also clean and spacious. The bed and pillows are comfortable, the blankets and comforter are cozy and inviting. It is easy to want to sleep in but the alarm clock is beside the bed in case you have to wake up early. There is more coffee and tea in the bedroom. The bathrooms are clean with fresh, fluffly towels and up to date toiletries. The shower has the right water pressure. A complimentary breakfast buffet is provided with your stay. From 08:00 to 10:00 a.m. You can finish your breakfast once you started eating but the buffet is cleared out for the next meal by 10:00. There are different breakfast foods to eat, it is all delicous. I tried a little of everything. The coffee is good and worth getting up early for. There is also a lounge on the other side of the lobby. It looks like fun. It was crowded and had a good atmosphere when I walked by. If you Close it. Beds are comfortable, really like the shuttle at 5:25 or 5:55. And we save about half of what we would have paid at a different park n fly. Only issue, fix the guest dryer that squeals it is the worst like that noise is the absolute worst, , my husband and I considered leaving it was so loud. It's probably just a fan belt but so so annoying. I'd also rearrange the foyer it's so chopped up and divided. It would be much nicer opened up and have obvious garbage can in the foyer.

But I think you'd be better off heading to Timmy Ho's (is that what you Canadians call it? That's our nickname for it in America) in the same parking lot. Free Wi-Fi. They got a gym and 5 gallon water jug downstairs to refill your water bottles and put them in the mini fridge in your room. This place is in dire need of a face lift in some rooms. Holes in the wall. Ripped up carpet. Loose door knobs. Gaps in the door. Room window view was of a trailer home. Toilet paper wasn't on a roller when. Well you get the idea. This ain't no Travelodge. I'm joking - it's comparable actually. Everything about this places screams Budget galore. And the sad part it, it's actually not cheap. But it's cheaper than the other options.

We also liked it's proximity to Edmonton while not being in Edmonton. To get here it's a bit confusing as there are 2 Holiday Inn Expresses right besides each other so make sure you go to the one you booked! It's also beside a train line and trains with their horns could be heard through the night which could be annoying to some. The property was very clean and we used the pool every day of our stay here. The pool is a bit smaller than some of the pictures we saw suggest and one of the nights it was super busy. My youngest enjoyed the water slide - word of warning it is very fast! I also used the fitness center once and it was adequate for my needs. The hot breakfast provided every morning was very welcome. There was fruit, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, selection of hot foods like sausages, hashbrowns, and omelets or scrambled eggs depending on the day. There was a auto pancake maker which was used quite a lot during our stay here which resulted in some lines. Selection of muffins, breads, a cinnamon rolls round out the food. And a juice station at the end (apple, orange, cranberry). The family enjoyed the breakfast. It's not a big breakfast area so getting a seat was a challenge. We booked the 2 queen suite and it was quite roomy. Plenty of space for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable. We liked that the provided body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and hand wash all pump format which is easier to use and more sanitary. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. There is coffee, tea, and ice water at the lobby where you check-in which was a nice touch. We definitely will stay here again.

Given another room which was fine with me. Told nothing about checkout time, fitness room, dining or anything else. First impressions upon arrival was wondering if the hotel was still in business. Zero landscaping seems to have been done for at least a year. Tall weeds and grass all around and on the property. The carpet sorely needs to be replaced throughout the hotel, especially in the hallway for my room on the first floor. In the room, the armchair has stains splattered across it and seems the original orange color is now a rusty brown. Light comes in under the door. No pen or notepad nor any hotel or dining info in the room. Rustic desktop lamp from decades ago gives little light. Appreciated the sink counterpoint and large mirror. The towels are stored *inside* the shower that didn't get warm enough water. Had to run the sink for 15 minutes to get warm enough water to wash my face. Thermostat doesn't work. AC unit in room worked, thank goodness, but grumbled and groaned to life each cycle. The bed was comfortable. The pillows flat. Bar soap only. The only other toiletries were shampoo, conditioner and lotion. No iron or laundry services. Breakfast not complimentary. Didn't use the fitness center or pool. Large parking lot that needs repaving and lines repainted. The hotel doesn't require the vehicle plate number.

I work for a medical device company and had some equipment delivered by FedEx to be used in a surgery the following day. I had asked the front desk to place it in my room. I go to my room and my package wasn't there. On my way back to the lobby I passed the housekeeping rolling bin that had dirty sheets tossed in it and what looked like the box I was expecting. The housekeeping attendant noticed me standing there and asked if I needed help and I told her I thought that was the package I was expecting in my room. She pulled it out of the bin and I see the box has my name and room number written on it, but had been completely opened with the contents exposed. I spoke with the manager about why the staff was opening packages and then throwing them away. I did not get a satisfactory explanation other than, "this has never happened before." There might be a perfectly innocent reason for all of this, but I'm leaning toward staff looking for something to steal and sell... Be warned, and obviously don't leave anything in your room you don't want stolen.
