They have like 3 toilets for the entire venue and you'll spend a chunk of your time waiting in line. I think the restrooms are original to the building (1920s) The sound system looks to be Meyer Leopard arrays with 900-LFCs and Rivage PM5 for the house console - so that's ripping! Only redeeming quality

The seats are comfortable and the view from the seats on the ground level are all decent. I've been where we sat at the last row on the ground level and I've visited where we had seats closer to the stage. The lines aren't crazy long, and the security works pretty quickly to move things right along. They do sell cocktails and snacks. I love that this venue is right in the middle of the city with plenty of public tranportation options. The fees have always been reasonable and cheaper if you pay at their box office. This is definitely a venue I would attend future events at based on my prior experiences.

Poor maintainance & dangerous drainage situation (i will happily update as to outcome) currently being discussed with course/Greens Keeper & town Engineer. Unlike other Central CT towns such as New Britain, Stanley Quarter golf course, concern for property owners is brushed off who are legally entitled to be heard & responded to when: water pours into their land & stone walls are being damaged, paid landscaping displaced! And constant tournaments w/mediocre golfers pop holes yrly into your homes siding, screens, at worst expensive glass windows. 2 wks ago, my eye was nearly put out when a golf ball bulleted into my glass bird feeder & blew it apart into my sea grasses. As the metal bottom dropped to the ground, i was scared thinking that couldve seriously hurt my head! There was a call made prior on request for a net at end of our land line marked by ol tall Cherry tree. We even asked for minimal reimbursement to have shared finance of the cost of a box of vinyl siding. Nope nope nope. Apparently, one must have an eye put out, a fractured skull or a river pour down (literally) from very poor drainage design between sand pit near hole #14 and oppo mound & sand pit. The Golf course is overseen by Parks & Rec Dept in Groton, Mr. Berry. The Greens Mgr/Keeper doesnt return calls, is surly & doesnt seem to like residents he's paid to take calls from if a serious issue thus you must call the supervisor, Director of P&R. This course sees enough fund-raising activities, tournament for maintenance of course should be considered. Dont get me wrong, im not here to just gripe. Theres the good too. A lovely view, some great course grass cutting staff, a wonderful restaurant, Par 4 on Plant St. Thats owned by town but rented to restaurant owner whos great.

She assisted us through a complex tax issue and never once did she loose patience or kindness. She was quick returning phone calls/emails. A follow up phone call from the town assessors office just to make sure our needs were met. Who has heard of such a thing? Mrs. Ruthick deserves to be recognized for her over abundance of customer service! OUTSTANDING MA'AM

It is a lovely building in a great location that is a pleasure to visit. The inside has an absolutely gorgeous marble lobby with gold crown molding and several huge fountains that are extremely cool. A beautiful red tail stag is in the entrance of the main lobby and was donated in 1978 by Sturges Redfield. The stag was carved in Europe and has been in his family for over a century. Pretty impressive critter. The Town hall also contains the Clinton Historical Society Museum Room that has different exhibits of local history and the building also contains 5 working fireplaces and a 450 seat auditorium. Quite an impressive place. One thing that is missing are the kitties. For years the Town Hall had a lovely and friendly cat named Andrew but he eventually got old and passed on. He was replace by Billy, a rather plump but lovable feline that that also ended up leaving this world. I have heard they aren't going to get any new cats which is a shame. Being greating by Andrew or Billy was always a treat. The Clinton Town Hall is a cool place even without the kitties. A interesting place to pay taxes or do tedious government stuff. Everyone here is always friendly and will go out of their way to help. They even have some beautiful river views from the back and a kayak and canoe ramp by the dock. A very cool town hall that has so many cool and interesting things to do and look at.

NOTE: do look up their website for exact details... I didn't. Dang**[. I had thought the reenactment was both days, not just Saturday. So, Sunday when I went nobody knew anything including the people at the dock house for an afternoon boat ride. However on a quiet June 1 Sunday I did get to see Teddy Roosevelt (actor) himself ,a very kind man, an enjoyable presentation from actor Patrick Falci( with help from his wife Joan at the slide projector) who was in the 1996 Rough Riders movie and 1997 Tv show with the same name. Note: if you're a history buff check it out! And a presentation from Head Librarian and curator Sue Sarna showing the - in the works - TR museum being build in N. Dakota( July 2026) a must see for buffs. Stopped by OB RR museum, Hive Market, Once upon a Stuffie, TR bully bar and Sweet tomatoes. It was the flip side for a quiet nice day in Oyster Bay.

It's hilly and had quite a bit going on; restaurants, bars, vineyards, breweries, etc. I really enjoyed walking through the historic Center Street Cemetery. The library is one of the nicest libraries I've been to. Walking around downtown was enjoyable; plenty of sidewalks and it's pedestrian friendly. The countryside is filled with small towns like Wallingford. Most of my Wallingford Tour was by truck. Jim has a comfortable truck complete with electric to charge my phone while I view the area in and around Wallingford. I saw new buildings that are beautiful design like the library. My favorite buildings are the historic buildings most of which now have been repurposed. I especially like the old train station. I saw barns, horses, cows, chickens and tractors! Old Factory Buildings are beautiful to see too. The homes look so inviting some with porches out front with rocking chairs on them. I felt like singing 'Little Pink Houses'! I did take a walk in the neighborhood. I took some photos. The drive didn't allow photos since it was drive by without the shooting (photo shooting that is!) A motorcycle tour makes my stay complete. A peaceful quiet retreat from hectic city life was certainly welcome. If you see my activity you'll see the seafood is fresh and delicious in this part of the country. Wallingford and the surrounding area have a lot to offer. Just remember you better have money for gas because you'll drive a lot! Everywhere you go in fact! I like the country for a vacation to rest. I think I feel more independent in the city. Sitting in a motor vehicle is too confining. I would definitely return to Wallingford and surrounding towns for relaxation, beautiful atmosphere, friendly people, and delicious food! Thanks Jim C. for sharing the town you love so much with me! I'm honored!
