I also provided them with a power of attorney for her medical care. Well after I was in the hospital going through cancer surgery I learned that the social worker informed my siblings that the agency I chose for my mother care when she was discharged was not listed on the hospital list of providers and was not a real agency. Causing friction between me and my siblings, and causing me to have to be there after major surgery for my mom alone even causing my stitches to open , the social worker also suggested another home healthcare provider and made a statement that my power of attorney was fake. Now who is she to say that it's fake. I went to the facility and spoke with administration who said that the social worker was looking out for the best interest of my mother but again you had a written letter from me and my mom and a legal document that states I was the power of attorney for her, so she goes to my mom tell her that the agency was not listed as a provider and states because my mom was in her right mind that she could make her own decision, but why ask her after you were provided instructions on what to do from the start my thing is I know what's best for my mom and you had instructions to follow and you did not , I feel that something is wrong with this and I feel after speaking with administration who told me to get my papers in order and they would do the same was so unprofessional and unacceptable. When all I asked for was an apology for they way things were handled. I will be looking into this matter further

The front desk person always greets me with a smile and knows my name, the business office helped me get LTC claim submitted and approved, and the hallway nurse as well as the PA gave me their numbers so we could reach them with questions or concerns. I would rate it 5 for staff, 4-5 for lobby, 3 for exterior appearance (not much curb appeal) and resident rooms (outdated and limited options).

Clothes were misplaced, my family member said she was dressed in other people's clothes and at one point her cell phone was missing, but found later. She transferred out of this facility on January 31, missing one hearing aid. She passed away February 3, 2021. Today we received a bill for the entire month of February from Regent Care. She and multiple family members have come to check in multiple times and has found him in an unacceptable state. There is no one around providing care, the floor is filthy with trash and waste, he has bed sores from improper care, he is never clothed and has waste even on the bed he's in. I don't want to provide graphic details on this app about the neglect but it's very bad. The phones they have for him are always hidden along with the nurse call button. The employees have their children at the facility and play loud music and have what seem to be employee parties in the evening while the residents should be sleeping. It's just overall negligent care and disregard for those that they are supposed to be caring for. They have tried to file multiple complaints and the head nurse refuses to provide any information on the cases and has been generally dishonest about all care concerns and complaints. Please DO NOT put your loved one in this facility if you expect the very basic of hygiene or safety to be provided for your family member!!
